Today it is more alts for the sixsona chart. Meg Dixon Brasil and Shakira Simpson with the last two existing silver variations, next I finally get to play with original designs.

For most of the year we had Meg asigned to another color as she was previously a rehearsal alt and silver boleyn with 2023 WE silver alt. Luckily we didn't get to Meg's original color because then we would have run out of silver swings for this year.

Has UK tour phased out the black alt costume? There are only 4 alts in the new cast and I'm expecting them to use the silver costume

Yes, they're using the silver alt costume. I do think they'll prioritize silver for the foreseeable future in casts with only one swing, yes. The silver cutout style generally matches most of the principal queens better than black, and while silver is technically closer to Seymour's white in color the design doesn't look similar at all.

I really wish the 23-24 UK tour queens were talked about more, I feel like they haven’t gotten as much buzz recently since they haven’t dealt with SIX chaos in a while. Such a fun cast.

can you imagine sometime this week something goes wrong, they send shakira to london, west end has its first show with 3 swalts with the same costume with esme, harriet, and shakira

bonus if we get harriet watson and leesa tulley in orange

something like:

aragon: shakira simpson

boleyn: leesa tulley (in orange for some reason)

seymour: claudia kariuki (shes basically always there for every 5 swalt massive)

cleves: harriet watson

howard: esme rothero

parr: harriet caplan-dean

so shakira's boot pattern is way different to esme and harriet's, but esme recently got her boots re-done so why did they give her the old pattern for it to be discontinued in a couple weeks time?

The boots changing quickly isn't new. Right when they started doing the custom rhinestoned boots pretty much every pair had different rhinestone colors, and from one company to the next the design could get both very subtle changes and complete redesigns. Also not all changes have been immediate. Think of Parr, it had the wide lines design for a couple of years before switching to diamonds and boleyn only recently switched to bigger squares in the UK. While howard switched from diagonals to diamonds in the second or third pair.

So Shakira getting a new pattern now shortly after Esme got the old one might just be the costume team decidint to try something new while actively working on the tour cast change. As for Esme it could be that they didn't decide on the change until after her boots were made, or that they decided to have a longer time to plan the new design, or that they just wanted continuity on Esme's look.

Also I really like the new design. Makes it more obvious that the silver crosses are the main feature instead of the black divider squares.
