#I just need to reblog this to yell about one specific thing#The owner of Kabosu is one of the sweetest people you could ever dream up#She cared for Kabosu for a decade and a half#Saving her from a puppy farm that was closing down and helping her through thick and thin puppy and old age#Kabosu was 18 and a half when she died basically on my birthday in may this last year#and her owner got a statue built of her not to celebrate herself#but because the world loved her dog and she wanted to give people the ability to sit next to her dog#she created doge day to help raise money for charities#she even managed to try to use NFT auctions to raise money for charity#and I know she tries so hard to put good into the world#I don’t read japanese#but her blog and her instagram Kabosumama#makes me openly weep#that it is full of so much love and what little of it I understand is poetry#and the fact that they are using her moniker#Doge comes from a picture of Kabosu#Kabosu is doge doge is Kabosu#makes me distraught#Somewhere on the other side of the world there is a kind lady with elderly rescue cats trying to run a charity fund she started#watching a dictator use the dog she loved so much for stupid petty tricks#I love you Kabosumama#I love you Kabosu#be well
