So I've decided I'm going to make a new ScytheClan in clan gen to post, under a new name though. SickleClan (it sounds better than ScytheClan 2.0 and I just like it). I also have a number of rules I'm going to play by, some of which were taken from other clangen challenges to fit something that gives me a bit more challenge and that I like. So expect an intro and some SickleClan posts soon

Checking in: Daisyfur is curious about the other clans, Cinderstar is feeling nervous, Sandcry is spending a considerable amount of grooming, Nightpounce is thinking about kits(I bet they do want more kits), Webtail is reinforcing the camp with brambles, Rowanpelt is gathering cobwebs, Fire is sharing her wisdom, Jasper is telling scary stories to the younger cats, Hopebounce regrets not eating the bird on the freshkill pile earlier, Olivebranch is having a good day, Noodle is giving advice to younger cats, Hopewhisker is feeling sassy today, Thunderstem is dreaming about being leader, Moth is feeling quite lazy, Timberheather wants to be chosen as the new deputy, Juniperseed is rethinking her life choices, Darkbreeze tries to set a good example for younger cats, even though she’s one of the youngest in the clan, Lightspeck also tries to set a good example for younger cats, Ladybugpelt is feeling sassy today, Bisonfrost heard a rumor about Hopebounce and Pichisong is talking to herself

Patrols: Cinderstar, Nightpounce and Timberheather go on patrol which quickly devolves into ghost stories leaving everyone on edge. Despite that they have a successful patrol. Pichisong, Sandcry and Ladybugpelt go on patrol and Pichisong is feeling nervous about it. Ladybugpelt and Sandcry comfort her. Webtail, Thunderstem and Olivebranch go on patrol and catch the scent of a hare. They catch the hare. When the other warriors went on patrol the game skipped a bit and I didn’t see what happened. Somebody was nervous about something but that’s all I got.

Year 6 is starting. I forgot to take a picture of Pichipaw last moon but she’s earned her warrior name of Pichisong.

Also Ladybugpelt earned a scar fighting a dog.

Checking in: Daisyfur is counting poppy seeds, Cinderstar is feeling content, Sandcry is heading to dirtplace, Nightpounce is watching over the non-existent kits(Maybe they want more kits?), Webtail is fighting with Noodle(I wonder what that’s about), Rowanpelt is relaxing in camp, Fire is daydreaming, Jasper is relaxing in camp, Hopebounce is complaining about being cold, Olivebranch is feeling gloomy, Noodle is curious about the other clans(Oh, Webtail is probably doubting Noodle’s loyalty because of her curiosity about the other clans), Hopewhisker is visiting the medicine den, Thunderstem is looking around camp, Moth found a trinket that used to belong to Barkpaw, Timberheather wants to go on a hunting patrol, Juniperseed hopes for a message from StarClan soon, Darkbreeze is guarding the camp entrance, Lightspeck is looking around camp, Ladybugpelt is spending a considerable amount of time grooming, Bisonfrost is heading to dirtplace and Pichisong is feeling gloomy

Patrols: Pichisong goes on her solo patrol and comes across the scent of a fox. The mother fox fights to defend her cubs and Pichisong is left with a scar. Cinderstar, Timberheather and Lightspeck go on patrol and Timberheather and Lightspeck end up having an argument which Cinderstar manages to skillfully smooth over. Nightpounce, Ladybugpelt and Bisonfrost go on patrol and notice new leaves and flowers growing. Hunting is plentiful as new prey is born. Olivebranch, Darkbreeze and Hopewhisker go on patrol and don’t find anything useful. It was still a fun outing and they learned a lot. Sandcry, Thunderstem and Webtail go on patrol and Thunderstem and Webtail start doubting Sandcry’s ability as deputy. Sandcry preforms well and quells doubt.

I know I usually post 12 moons in a row for my clangen clan but idk if I'll go back to it or not. At the very least I won't go back to it for awhile because other things are holding my interest more rn. I'll post the two moons I have sitting in my drafts now though. If I go back to it I'll say it in a post

SickleClan: Cinderstar’s Thoughts

     Cinderstar sits by the entrance of his den looking out at the camp, at his clan. It’s been five years now, going on 6. It’s a strange thought to him, he can still recall his exile and the nervous uncertainty, as well as blind confidence, he felt as he and his supports left to find their own territory. Starting a new clan...it would be easy he thought, he could lead, better than that old softie who lead his old clan. How wrong he was about that. SickleClan has endured many hardships and lots of loss, the majority of them aren’t even clan born at this point, but they’re still here. They’ve survived and they’re doing relatively well for themselves. Sure they have their own little drama’s and there’s still the prophecy to figure out, but they’re alive. A gentle purr rumbles in his throat as he looks around the camp, as his clan mates go about their day. He’s proud of them and he hopes that he’s leading the clan well and will continue to lead the clan well for as long as he’s got left. They’ve made it this far, despite it all. He can’t help but worry a little about the prophecy but SickleClan has made it this far and he has bright hopes for the future of his clan.

Newleaf is here and Juniperpaw has earned her medicine cat name of Juniperseed. She’s a good speaker.

Darkpaw has earned her warrior name of Darkbreeze and is an excellent fighter.

Bisonpaw has earned her warrior name of Bisonfrost and is a good hunter.

Checking in: Daisyfur is looking forward to the half-moon meeting, Cinderstar is hoping that he’s leading his clan well, Sandcry heard a rumor about Cinderstar, Nightpounce is gossiping(To Sandcry about Cinderstar evidently. Coupled with their desire to be deputy/leader that’s...interesting. Is there a plot afoot? Is this what the prophecy is about, but the message is too cryptic for the other cats to catch on? Hmm, we’ll see what happens), Webtail is talking to herself, Rowanpelt hopes for a message from StarClan soon, Fire is napping, Jasper is telling scary stories to younger cats, Hopebounce found a trinket that used to belong to Scargorse, Olivebranch is acting suspicious(Hm. Patrols: Bisonfrost goes out on her solo patrol and comes across the scent of a rat. Her confidence is shaken by missing the rat. Darkbreeze goes on her solo patrol and comes across the scent of a fox. She finds the fox and drives it away. Olivebranch, Ladybugpelt and Hopewhisker go on patrol and find a loner interested in the clan. They don’t convince the loner to join. Lightspeck, Cinderstar and Thunderstem go on patrol and find a kittypet interested in the clan. They convince the kittypet to join.

The loner is a 11 moon old cat named Pichipaw.

Nightpounce takes her out for a patrol. Pichipaw admits she had a vision from StarClan last night(What lead her to seeking out SickleClan maybe?), But she and Nightpounce can’t make sense of it. Webtail, Timerheather and Sandcry go out on patrol and come across an object smelling strongly of two-legs. They interpret the purpose of the object.

SickleClan Moon 57

Leafbare is here and Sandcry lost his tail to a tree. I guess a tree fell on his tail and the only way to free him from under the tree was to lose the tail. And Rowanpelt and Lightspeck decided to become mates.

Checking in: Daisyfur thinks she’s going crazy(Trying and failing to decipher the prophecy I guess), Cinderstar is feeling nervous, Sandcry is heading to dirtplace, Nightpounce caught the scent of an enemy warrior earlier, Webtail is looking around camp, Rowanpelt hopes for a message from StarClan soon(For more detail on the prophecy I’m guessing. Whatever it is kinda seems to have the clan in a tizzy), Fire is talking to herself, Jasper is feeling nervous, Hopebounce is giving advice to younger cats, Olivebranch is talking with Noodle, Noodle is feeling quite lazy, Hopewhisker is also feeling quite lazy, Thunderstem is feeling happy, Moth is feeling down, Timberheather is heading to dirtplace, Juniperpaw is talking with Noodle(And also Olivebranch probably), Darkpaw is eating some freshkill and Lightspeck is daydreaming(On cloud 9 since he and Rowanpelt became mates, that’s cute)

Patrols: Thunderstem and Darkpaw go on patrol which quickly devolves into ghost stories leaving them both on edge. A branch snaps and they run back to camp. Sandcry, Lightspeck and Webtail go on patrol and find a loner interested in joining the clan. They convince the loner to join.

The loner is Light a 17 moon old shameless cat. I might change her name later so that we don’t have 2 Hopes and 2 Lights at the same time, I’d prefer not to have a lot of repeating names, especially while the clan’s on the smaller side.

Cinderstar goes out on patrol and finds a loner interested in joining the clan. He convinces them to join.

This loner is a 9 moon old fierce cat also named Darkpaw, who will be mentored by Sandcry. Okay, yeah I’m changing her and Light’s names once I finish the moon.

Since Sandcry has already gone on patrol for the day, Nightpounce takes out the newly joined Darkpaw on patrol. They come across the scent of a hare and catch it. Hopewhisker, Timberheather, Olivebranch and Light go on patrol and some of the cats have an argument and look to Hopewhisker to settle the dispute. Hopewhisker stutters and the other cats don’t think they’re fit to lead a patrol.

SickleClan Moon 54

Leaf-fall has started and Hopepaw has completed their apprenticeship and earned their warrior name of Hopewhisker. They have a strong connection to StarClan(Which is interesting considering there’s a prophecy to be fulfilled. Maybe it has to do with her?) 

Juniperpaw has started her apprenticeship, she’s loyal and is a medicine cat apprentice being mentored by Rowanpelt.

Darkpaw has also started her apprenticeship and she’s bold. Her mentor is Thunderstem.

Checking in: Daisyfur is sharing prey with Nightpounce, Cinderstar is talking with Daisyfur(Maybe about the prophecy after Daisyfur is done sharing prey with Nightpounce?), Sandcry is feeling nervous, Nightpounce wants to be chosen as the new deputy(noted), Webtail is sharing prey with Thunderstem, Rowanpelt is interpreting an omen(Probably about the prophecy), Fire is feeling nervous, Jasper is thinking about how too many cats die young(My guess is he’s worried about Hopewhisker’s solo patrol today), Hopebounce is telling scary stories to the younger cats, Olivebranch plans to visit the medcine den(Maybe to talk to Rowanpelt? I remember them being friends when they were younger but between medicine cat duties and Olivebranch raising and mentoring her adopted daughter they didn’t spend as much time together. My guess is she wants to catch up), Noodle is rethinking her life choices, Hopewhisker is feeling down, Thunderstem is acting suspicious(That paired with a prophecy and him mentoring Darkpaw is concerning), Moth is complaining about her nest being too rough, Timberheather is eating some freshkill, Juniperpaw is irritating her mentor, Darkpaw is rethinking her life choices and Lightspeck is sharing prey with Sandcry

Patrols: Hopewhisker goes out on her solo patrol and comes across the scent of a mouse, she catches it. Thunderstem and Darkpaw go out on patrol and Thunderstem suggests this might be a goo time to practice. It turns out he’s not very good at teaching. Nightpounce, Lightspeck and Olivebranch go out on patrol and come across a thunderpath. They cross and can hunt on the other side. Sandcry, Timberheather and Webtail go on patrol and come across a thunderpath. They cross and can hunt on the other side. Cinderstar goes out on patrol and comes across an object that smells strongly of two-legs. He interprets the object.

SickleClan Moon 46

Jasper earned a scar fighting a dog and since we didn’t catch enough prey last moon Cinderstar ended up losing another life to starvation. I also decided to pair up Webtail and Jasper because I like the idea of that pairing and am hoping for kits to be born into the clan since apparently nobody’s willing to be a single parent except for Cinderspeckle(With her 2 adopted kits) who’s dead and Olivebranch(With her 1 adopted kit).

Checking in: Daisyfur is clearing out old herbs, Cinderstar is daydreaming, Sandcry is looking around camp, Nightpounce heard a rumor about Noodle, Webtail wishes she could visit Deadpath in StarClan, Rowanpelt is looking for herbs, Fire is heading to dirtplace, Jasper is feeling nervous, Hopebounce wants to spend time alone today, Olivebranch is decorating her nest, Noodle is feeling nervous, Hopekit is looking forward to today, Thunderstem is daydreaming and Moth is looking forward to today

Patrols: Cinderstar goes out on patrol on his own and finds a loner who’s interested in joining the clan. The loner  thinks for awhile an decides against joining. Olivebranch and Nightpounce go out on patrol and catch the scent of a mouse, which they catch. Thunderstem goes out on patrol on his own and doesn’t find anything useful. It was still a fun outing and he learned a lot. Sandcry, Jasper and Webtail go out on patrol and find a kittypet who’s interested in the clan. They convince the kittypet to join.

The kittypet is an empathic 97 moon old cat named Timerheather

Nightpaw has earned their warrior name of Nightpounce and has become a great hunter.

Olivepaw despite being only 9 moons old has adopted an abandoned kit named Hopekit who’s a 0 moon old inquisitive female kit. Olivepaw still has to continue her training though.

Checking in: Oatstone wants to go on a hunting patrol, Daisyfur is napping, Cinderspeckle wishes she could visit Scargorse in StarClan, Cinderstar is feeling nervous, Sandcry is looking forward to today, Nightpunce is having a hard day, Webtail caught a huge rabbit, Rowanpaw wants to spend time alone today, Fire is dreaming about being leader, Jasper is feeling down, Hopebounce wants to spend time alone today, Olivepaw thinks she’s going crazy(Fair you have training to do and adopted a kit at 9 moons), Noodle is feeling happy and Hopekit plays mossball by themselves

Patrols: Nightpounce goes on their solo patrol and comes across a ShyClan patrol at the border but nobody is hostile(Geez, how many clans are in the area?). Despite the lack of outright hostilities the situation turns awkward fast and Nightpounce goes and hunts elsewhere. Cinderspeckle and Olivepaw go on patrol and come across the scent of a hare. They catch the hare. Jasper, Sandcry and Cinderstar go on patrol and find a kittypet who’s interested in the clans. They convince the kitty pet to join.

The kittypet is a loving, 51 moon old cat named Thunderstem.

Thunderstem, Fire and Oatstone go on patrol and find a loner who’s interested in joining the clan. The patrol doesn’t quite convince the loner to join.

SickleClan Moon 39

Greenleaf is here and Cinderstar and Hopebounce have become mates. Noodle and Daisyfur keep hanging out and considering Noodle was thinking about love I’m going set the two of them up as mates as well. Love is in the air this moon I guess.

Olivepaw has also started her apprenticeship this moon. She’s adventurous and will be mentored by Cinderspeckle.

Patrols: Webtail and Nightpaw go out on patrol and catch the scent of a large rat. They catch the rat. Cinderspeckle and Olivepaw go out on patrol and find a loner who’s interested in joining the clan. The loner thinks for awhile and decides against joining. Cinderstar, Fire and Oatstone go out on patrol and find a loner interested in joining. The loner thinks for awhile and decides against joining. Jasper, Noodle and Sandcry go on patrol and come across the scent of a large dog. The patrol manages to valiantly drive the dog away.

Newleaf is here but sadly we still didn’t get enough prey last moon and it resulted in Cloudkit dying of starvation. Hopefully we get enough prey this moon.

On a lighter note Nightpaw has started their apprenticeship, they’re strange and will be mentored by Webtail.

Last moon the clan didn’t manage to get enough prey and as a result, Cinderstar lost a life to starvation.

Checking in: Oatstone is spending a lot of time with Jasper(I guess they’re becoming friends), Daisyfur is feeling gloomy, Cinderspeckle is also feeling gloomy, Cinderstar regrets not eating the bird on the freshkill pile earlier, Sandcry is thinking about kits(He hasn’t seemed, as far as I’ve noticed, particularly into anyone in the clan, so I’m thinking he may have a mate/crush outside of the clan at this point), Nightkit is eating some freshkill(Probably the bird, Cinderstar wishes he had eaten), Webtail plans to visit the medicine cat, Rowankit is feeling happy, Fire is guarding the camp entrance, Jasper tries to set a good example for the younger cats, Hopebounce is feeling content, Olivekit sticks her tongue out at Jasper(I guess she doesn’t care for the example he’s trying to set, lol), Cloudkit is eating some freshkill and Noodle is having a hard day

Webpaw earned her warrior name of Webtail, she’s become a great fighter.

Fire earned a scar fighting a dog and Jasper mourns the loss of Mossykit who he never even knew.

Checking in: Oatstone is listening to stories about Browncloud, Daisyfur is spending a considerable amount of time grooming, Cinderspeckle is assigning cats border patrol, Cinderstar is heading to dirtplace, Sandcry is feeling sassy today, Nightkit thinks they’re going crazy(You’re 4 moons old sweetie, calm down), Webtail is feeling happy, Rowankit is feeling happy, Fire regrets not eating the bird on the freshkill pile earlier, Jasper wants to go on patrol, Hopebounce caught the scent of an enemy warrior earlier, Olivekit wonders what her full name will be and Cloudkit wishes other cats would stop babying him(Tough luck Cloudkit you are a baby, lol)

The kitty pet is a compassionate 113 moon old cat named Noodle(Noodle! What a name, omg. Noodle my beloved! Lol)

Cinderstar, Jasper and Noodle go on patrol and come across the scent of a hare, which they proceed to catch. Fire, Sandcry and Oatstone go on patrol and come across a rogue. The rogue leaves but not before giving Fire a scar.

Oatstone and Cinderfur were hanging out in the elders den for some reason, I’m gonna say they’re mates. I like the idea of that pairing(Also hoping for kits, but y’know)

Anyways checking in: Oatstone tries to set a good example for younger cats(Dude what younger cats? It’s the start of year 2 and Brownpaw has earned her warrior name of Browncloud and has become a great teacher.

Checking in: Oatstone is having a hard day, Daisyfur heard a rumor about Deadpath(I’m pretty sure this is the second time he’s been gossiped about), Curlystripe is curious about other clans, Scargorse is sharing prey with Deadpath, Cinderspeckle is feeling down, Cinderstar is hoping for a sign from StarClan, Sandcry is also curious about other clans, Deadpath is eating some freshkill(With Scargorse evidently) and Browncloud is having a good day.

Patrols: Browncloud goes out on her solo patrol and meets a LarchClan patrol at the border but nobody is hostile. Despite the lack of outright hostilities the situation turns awkward fast and she hunts elsewhere. Sandcry, Oatstone and Cinderspeckle go on patrol together and it quickly devolves into ghost stories leaving everyone on edge. A branch snaps and the whole patrol runs back to camp. Scargorse, Cinderstar and Curlystripe go out and don’t find anything useful it was still a fun outing and they learned a lot.
