"Elara, Nova, have either of you seen Octavia?" Clarke asks, entering the girls tent.
"No." Elara says, shaking her head.
"The last time I saw her was when we saw Raven's pod come down." Nova replies.
"That long?" Elara asks.
Nova nods. "That's not good. Help me check the rest of the camp." Clarke says, stepping back outside of the tent. The group was quick to realize that the younger Blake was nowhere to be found.
A search party was gathered, one that included both Nova and Elara. "Hey, everybody, gather around and grab a weapon. My sister's been out there alone for 12 hours. Arm up. We're not coming back without her." Bellamy says.
"Jasper you don't need to do this. You haven't been outside of camp since you were attacked." Elara says, looking at the boy in concern.
"We need all the people we can get. Though maybe you should stay behind. Being a medic your life is too valuable." Bellamy replies, not giving Jasper the chance to speak for himself.
"Clarke is staying behind. And being a medic is the exact reason why I should go with you. Octavia could be hurt. You need me."
"Plus I'm not going to let anything happen to her. She's the only person I would both die for and kill for. She'll be safe." Nova pipes in.
Bellamy nods, still looking slightly unsure about letting her come with them, but realizing that they're right. "Finn. Get out here." Bellamy calls. He waits for a few more minutes as the group hovers by the camp exit, "Finn, we're leaving!" He yells once more.
The group impatiently waits for Finn as he talks to Clarke. "Look up there. It's so beautiful!" A delinquent from somewhere in the camp says. All eyes immediately look up to the sky.
Hundreds of shooting stars, or at least what look to be shooting stars, are falling through the sky. "They didn't see the flares." Raven says, disappointment in her voice.
"A meteor shower tells you that?" Bellamy asks.
Sadly, Elara replies, "It's not a meteor shower. It's a funeral."
"Hundreds of bodies being returned to the Earth from the Ark." Clarke continues.
"This is what it looks like from the other side." Nova finishes, crossing her arms.
Raven angrily storms up to Bellamy, "This is because of you!"
"I helped you find the radio!" He grits out through clenched teeth.
"Yeah, after you jacked it from my pod and trashed it!"
"Yeah, he knows. Now he has to live with it." Clarke says, trying to diffuse the situation.
"All I know is that my sister is out there and I'm going to find her." Bellamy turns to Finn, "You coming or what?"
Finn nods. The group turns on their heels and walks out of the camp following Nova and Elara who stand in the front.

"Look! Over here!" Mbege calls, gaining the attention of the group.
"What is it?" Bellamy asks.
"Maybe try to stay quieter, we don't want to bring any unwanted attention to us." Nova adds.
Mbege nods, "Right there." He says quieter this time, "Is that Octavia's?" He points to a ripped piece of cloth.
Bellamy opens his bag to get rope out, "What are you doing?" Finn asks him.
"We need the rope to get back up." He then pulls out a flashlight and starts making his way down the steep incline. "It's hers. I'm going all the way down."
Finn follows him down, "The prints are deeper going that way. He was carrying her." He says, pointing out the tracks.
"If they took her, she's alive. Like when they took me." Jasper says.
"That's not necessarily true. For you they were making a statement, you're not alone. We know that now." Nova says, rather morbidly.
Bellamy glares at the petite girl, "Would it kill you to be positive?"
"Actually yes. My life has been fairly sucky to say the least. Positivity isn’t really in my vocabulary."
"And she has a point. We should be prepared for the worst." Elara says, stopping any arguing.
Bellamy grunts but nods, turning away from the two to start following the footsteps.
The group walks silently through the woods. Just as the sun is starting to rise they make it Grounder territory. They can tell because in front of them are skulls, presumably from others the Grounders have killed.
"I don't speak Grounder... but I'm pretty sure this means keep out." Finn says.
"This is crazy. I'm outta here." One of the delinquents spoke up.
"Me too." Another piped in.
"Go back if you want. My sister, my responsibility." Bellamy replies.
"Stay together on your way back. Keep your eyes open for any threats. Let Clarke know what's going on." Nova says. The others turn, heading back to camp.
"Well, let's go." Elara says, gripping her bow and pulling an arrow out of the sheath so that she could be ready in case of an attack.
The remaining group crosses into the Grounder territory, Finn and Bellamy in the lead. Nova and Elara take up the back, each holding their bows and keeping a look out for any threats.
"I got nothing. We lost the trail." Finn speaks up.
"Keep looking." Bellamy urges.
"Wandering around aimlessly isn't the way to find your sister. We should backtrack."
Bellamy cuts Finn off, "I'm not going back."
"Hey, where's John?" Roma asks from Elara's left.
The group looks around, perplexed. "I just saw him a second ago." Jasper says.
"Spread out. He couldn't have gotten that far." Bellamy starts, but before anyone can move John's body falls from the trees.
"They use the trees." Finn says.
Elara looks at John, sadness in her eyes. She didn't know him well but she hates the fact that she can't do anything to save him. "We shouldn't have crossed the boundary." Diggs says.
"Now can we go back?" Roma asks, on the verge of panicking.
"There. Right there." Jasper says, pointing to a Grounder in the distance.
"We should run." Finn replies.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
"What are we gonna do? They keep heading us off." Jasper says.
"Just keep running." Finn replies.
"I can't run much longer!"
"I'm not stopping for him!" Diggs says.
"Wait! Wait stop!" Nova screams out, everyone but Diggs listens, though nobody realizes it for a moment.
"Why are we stopping?" Elara asks her friend, confused.
"You said they kept heading us off." Nova says this looking at Jasper, who nods, "They want us to go in a certain direction then. They're herding us. There are probably traps somewhere over here."
Atlas, who was silent for most of the trip, decides this is a great time to speak, "Wow, that was insanely hot how you just figured that out and I kinda want to make out with you now."
"Try it and I'll punch you in the throat."
"Diggs, where are you?" Roma calls out, just now realizing that her friend wasn't with the group.
"Roma!" Diggs yells, making Roma take off running at the sound of his voice.
"Wait! Roma!" Finn tried to stop her.
The group quickly finds Diggs body. A spike through his chest keeping him pinned against a tree.
They then move in the same direction they last saw Roma running in. Spotting her half hidden behind a tree, Monroe calls, "There she is. Roma!"
Roma doesn't answer though. She, just like Diggs and Mbege, is now dead because of the Grounders. "Nova's right." Finn begins.
"Always am." She replies.
The group glances at her but don't acknowledge her words, "They're playing with us." Finn finishes. "They can kill us whenever they want."
Grounders start forming a circle around the remaining delinquents, "Yeah, well they can't kill us if we kill them first." Nova replies. She turns to look at Elara, "You take the one to the right, I'll get the one straight ahead?"
"Sounds good." Elara replies, a bit hesitant but knowing they don’t have any other choice. In an instant both girls raise their bows, take aim, and shoot. The two Grounders fall to the forest floor, dead. The other two Grounders remaining take a threatening step forward but stop when a fog horn is heard.
"They're leaving." Bellamy states, watching as the two run away.
"That horn. What does it mean?" Jasper asks.
"Acid fog." Finn and Nova say in unison.
"We have to run." Monroe replies.
Nova shakes her head as Finn answers, "There's no time."
Finn quickly takes out a tent tarp from his bag. He shakes it out and with Nova's help the two delinquents open it wide. The group hurriedly lays down underneath it and makes sure that nothing can get inside.
"How long are we supposed to wait?" Jasper asks from Nova's left.
"Will this even work?" Monroe counters.
"We'll find out." Finn answers.
"No, we won't." Bellamy huffs. He shoots his hand out lifting the tarp so he can look out.
"Bell-" Elara starts to scold but stops when nothing burns her skin. "There's no fog."
The group all stands up. "Maybe it was a false alarm?" Atlas asks, looking around in hopes that he will find an answer.
"They're coming back." Bellamy says, gesturing to a Grounder in the distance.
"I think he's alone." Jasper whispers.
"Now can we run?" Monroe questions, wanting to leave before the Grounders come back.
"He doesn't see us. I'm going after him." Bellamy says. He doesn't wait for anyone to reply as he starts following the lone Grounder.
Nova shrugs at the group and follows close behind. The others taking this as their cue to follow too.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
The group enter a secluded cave, following the Grounder. As they enter, their eyes adjusting to the darkness, they find the unconscious Grounder and Octavia standing over him.
"How did you find me?" Octavia asks her brother.
"Followed him." He nods to the Grounder, helping her out of her restraints.
"We should go. Now. Before he wakes up." Octavia says.
Nova and Finn stand near the Grounder, both looking at the same thing. A foghorn is strapped to his belt. "Finn, Nova, move." Bellamy says from behind the two.
Nova opens her mouth to reply but stops when her brown eyes meet the Grounders. The Grounder quickly pushes off the ground, cutting Nova with his knife then plunging the blade into Finn's abdomen.
"Fuck," Nova hisses out, as she stumbles away from the man. The Grounder moves to attack Bellamy.
"Stop! That's my brother!" Octavia calls out. Jasper, thinking fast, picks up a heavy branch and hits the Grounder over the head, knocking him out.
Elara kneels beside Finn, "We need to get him to camp quickly. I can't work on him here. We don't have equipment or good lighting. Oh my God. I don't think Clarke or I have enough training to be able to save him. We're going to need Abby."
"Then let's hope Raven has the radio working." Atlas says, resting a comforting hand on Elara's shoulder.
"Come on. Pick him up and let's go. The longer we wait the worst off he is." Nova says. She quickly takes the lead, leading the group back to the camp.
Once the camp gates come into view Elara quickly calls out, "Get him in the dropship!"
"Clarke! Where's Clarke?" Jasper frantically asks.
"Hey, I'm here. What's up?" Clarke asks, stepping outside of the dropship.
"Oh my God. Finn?!" She continues as her eyes land on the unconscious boy being carried in by Bellamy and Atlas.
"He's alive Clarke. But we're going to need your moms help." Elara says.
"Oh my God! Finn!" Raven yells, also stepping out of the dropship. "Can you guys save him?" She asks, turning to look at Clarke and Elara.
"Not without my mother." Clarke replies. "You need to fix the radio. Now."
Raven confidently nods and runs back into the dropship. Bellamy hands Finn over to a nearby delinquent so that he can talk to his sister as the girls get started on keeping Finn alive.
Once Finn is settled on a table in the dropship Elara turns to Nova. "Let me clean up your cut."
"I'm fine, I'll do it myself. Focus on Finn." Nova replies, stubbornly.
"We can't do anything for Finn right now. But I can help you. So let me."
Nova rolls her eyes but holds out her left arm, waiting for Elara to clean it. She bites her lips to stop herself from hissing out in pain. Her eyes stay trained on the cut as she watches Elara clean it. "It's not too deep. I just need to wrap it up to make sure it doesn't get affected."
"Thanks." Nova whispers. Elara smiles, she finishes up and walks away, bringing her attention back to Finn.
