The Heartsong Festival 2017

Thank you, everyone, for such an amazing turnout. We had loads of fun hanging out with you all, and we’re happy we were able to share one of our favorite WoW holidays with the WrA community. I’m sad we weren’t able to snag more screenshots as the night went on, and more people showed up. We started with our dancing and open bar, as well as the return of the Cards of Fate, a game of chance that received lots of love last year. Then we moved on to a wonderful, and funny skit and play performed by @caterinaprimrose and her fledging theater troupe! As promised, here are the tallies for our Date Auction, which wrapped up our series of events.

After we tallied our final amount, and we were able to distinguish the means of inflation between IC/OOC gold margins, we forwarded the full amount of 170,000 gold to <The Stormwind City Guard> as both an IC and OOC thanks for the hard work they put into carrying out the fun, yet unforgiving/strenuous RP that is our resident law enforcement of Stormwind. They also helped us in keeping the event organized both IC and OOCly, with the pertinent help of Percy Aldenhardt! The rest will be going to paying those who assisted in carrying out the event, for both vendors and entertainers alike! 1) Her Children.

Not really an object, but it is a possession. Like any mother, Dill cherishes her kids and would do anything to ensure their happiness and safety. (Even if she may be incredibly over protective of them)

2) Friends in both House Stygian and Harthfolde.

Some old, and some new, Dill considers her life owed to many members in both Houses. Although as Kaldorei and she finds many of the culture differences odd, she cherishes each and every one of them. 

3) Orc Tusk Necklace.

Taken from the corpse of her former master, Dill wears this tusk on a simple cord around her neck at all times to remind her of her freedom, vengeance, and reason to continue fighting.

This is hard as fuck to do when your character isn’t really materialistic.

Who are your best friends in the WrA community? Write a paragraph about them describing as best you can what they mean to you.

Reee! That’s easy,Zevaron certainly is one of my best friends! We’ve known each other through several server transfers; my main character, who I’ve long retired, had been a very important part of his char progression - and, him, mine. When I first met him eight or nine years ago, we were both still in high school. We’ve both since branched off and watched each other grow into adults. He is, by far, one of my oldest, most trusted friends, as well as RP partner! Back in the days when we both still RPed with @embersign (before she ditched for FF!) - Hence why we went forward in making his char and my new main, Miso, blood-related. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a Tumblr, otherwise I would tag him. Sigrid is one of my favorite RP partners, and one of my closest friends. We met a year and a half ago - two years? It’s hard to tell, anymore. Time does fly when you’re having fun. She’s an amazing, hard-working person in real life, and she’s always there for you if you need a genuine, protective friend. I’m very happy with all the RP we do, even if we don’t always get a chance to explore our beloved stories, we have just as much fun chatting in Skype about headcanons, or gabbing on about random, impertinent RP like slice of life, and quirky things for our characters to do. @sigridnaraanVindliah/Viranande is another one of my best friends and favorite RP partners. Beyond her character being married to my prior main for upwards of 4 years, she’s been just as in love with the story as I am - despite me not being able to put as much time into my other characters as I’d like to. We’ve been through a lot of ground-shattering RP together; the kind of fire and brimstone that really does forge the most seasoned of characters. We have a lot of nostalgia we lapse upon, and she was one of the people who I originally met when I came to WrA with my Argent Dawn frands (like Zev). She’s super busy in real life being a super mum, but she always tries to find time to sit down and RP, or just chat about stuff in general. @vindliah
