So, I was just sitting doing my business on the porcelain throne. When suddenly and without warning, a thought popped into my head. I am a welder by trade, and as such, I work with carbon steel sometimes. Then I remembered I am a carbon-based lifeform, leading me to think of whatever is carbon. Diamonds. Diamonds are just super condensed carbon and have a harness scale of 10, the hardest thing known to man to date. Not to mention, it's a beautiful piece for jewelry. *kurplunk* An idea has just occurred. We are carbon-based lifeforms, and we cerise if there is any other life out there, it would probably be silicon-based. Now the question is, would this silicon-base lifeform use silicon as we use diamonds? Thoughts?
