The Rival Companion
Desire
Fear
hate
desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?
To uphold the ⚔️Legacy⚔️
As I was watching the most recent EarthSpark episodes, there were a few Twitch moments that made me feel like I was watching the Companion. Twitch has the same take-charge attitude, dutiful protectiveness, and competitive streak.
It’s no secret to anyone that the Companion “just can’t wait to be king,” but unlike Simba, this resilient soul is willing to do the work to earn that power instead of running away when things get hard. Strong competition is an excellent motivator ;)
fear: What is your OC's greatest fear? What do they do when confronted with it? Are they open with their fear, or do they hide it away?
One word: failure.
Failure to live up to the image of the perfect “soldier.” Failure to uphold the legacy that’s been passed down. Failing a loved one.
When confronted with such possibilities, the Companion pushes harder, often getting so caught up in getting back what was to the detriment of what will be. (kinda like Tarn)
It’s hard to hide such “valiant” efforts to save face and restore a sense of control, and the Companion doesn’t even try.
hate: What does your OC hate? Why? How do they act towards the object of their hatred?
Humiliation is the Companion’s number one enemy.
It goes hand-in-hand with the fear of failure. Failure is avoided because it usually leads to humiliation, which cuts deeper than anything else for this character.

6 days for Trekking Kilimanjaro cost via Rongai route
Explore 6 days for Trekking Kilimanjaro cost via Rongai route, Rongai route is the only route that approaches the mountain from the northern side near the Kenyan border the route is still new and not very popular. It may be considered an easy route because of its gradual slope, it is recommended for those who wish for a more solemn climb and can be the best during rainy season as the north side receive less precipitation. 6 days Kilimanjaro

KILIMANJARO-7 DAYS RONGAI ROUTE TREKKING
Tumblr media
KILIMANJARO-RONGAI ROUTE 7 DAYS TREKKING KILIMANJARO-7 DAYS RONGAI ROUTE TREKKING with Kilipeak Adventure,  begins at the remote, northern side of Kilimanjaro, near the Kenyan border. We hike through a true wilderness area towards the jagged Mawenzi Peak, then cross a barren desert saddle, before climbing up Kibo’s eastern crater wall. The Rongai route is a more gradual ascent, and is therefore preferred by those with little or no backpacking experience, but is equally enjoyable for even the most hardened trekkers. As mentioned above, an additional acclimatization day on Day 5 is added. During this day, we will do additional acclimatization hikes around and up to the saddle towards Camel’s Back. DAY 1: ARRIVE IN TANZANIA. Arrive anytime at Kilimanjaro International Airport, we will use our private transfer to Marangu at Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort. We will gather in the evening for a pre-climb briefing and an equipment check. We will also confirm you have the appropriate mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance. Dinner and overnight at Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort: Bed, Dinner, and Breakfast included. DAY 2: RONGAI SIMBA CAMP (FULL BOARD). We take a ride to Marangu gate to complete the necessary registration formalities, before transferring by SUV to Rongai gate. The climb begins from Nale Moru (6,400 ft) on a small path that winds through fields of maize and potatoes before entering a pine forest. The track then starts to climb consistently, but gently through attractive forest that shelters a variety of wildlife, including the Colobus monkey. These monkeys are black with a long ‘cape’ of white hair and a flowing whitetail. The forest begins to thin out at the edge of the moorland zone. Then, we take in the expansive views over the Kenyan plains as we arrive at our first campsite at Rongai One Camp (8,500 ft). DAY 3: RONGAI SECOND CAVE (FULL BOARD). The morning walk is a steady ascent up to the Second Cave (11,300 ft) with superb views of Kibo and the Eastern Icefields on the crater rim. After lunch, we leave the main trail and strike out and head southeast across the moorland on a smaller path towards the jagged peaks of Mawenzi. Our campsite is in a sheltered valley, decorated with giant senecios near Kikelewa Caves (11,800 ft). DAY 4: RONGAI KIKELELWA CAVE (FULL BOARD). A short but steep climb is rewarded by superb all-round views and a tangible sense of wilderness. We leave vegetation behind shortly before reaching the next camp at Mawenzi Tarn (14,200 ft), spectacularly situated in a cirque directly beneath the towering spires of Mawenzi. The afternoon will be free to rest or explore the surrounding area as an aid to acclimatization. DAY 5: MAWENZI TURN (FULL BOARD). We have an additional day to acclimatize. We explore the area with a walk up onto the Saddle towards Camel’s Back. We return back to camp at Mawenzi Tarn (14,200 ft). DAY 6: MAWENZI TURN TO KIBO HUT (FULL BOARD). We cross the lunar desert of the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo to reach Kibo Hut (15,400 ft) at the bottom of the crater wall. The remainder of the day is spent resting in preparation for an early morning final ascent. DAY 7: KIBO HUT TO SUMMIT TO HORROMBO HUT (FULL BOARD). We start the final and most demanding part of the climb by torchlight around 1 a.m. We plod very slowly in the darkness on a switchback trail through loose volcanic scree to reach the crater rim at Gillman’s Point (18,600 ft). We rest here for a short time to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over Mawenzi. Those who are still feeling strong can make the three-hour round trip to Uhuru Peak (19,345 ft), passing close to the spectacular glaciers and ice cliffs that still occupy most of the summit area. The descent to Kibo Hut (15,400 ft) is surprisingly fast and, after some refreshments, we continue the descent to Horombo Huts (12,200 ft). DAY 8: HORROMBO HUT (FULL BOARD). A steady descent takes us down through moorland to Mandara Huts (8,900 ft). We then continue descending through lovely lush forest on a good path to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate at Marangu (6,000 ft), where we are transferred back to Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort in Marangu. Dinner and overnight at Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort: Bed, Dinner, and Breakfast included. DAY 9: DEPARTING DAY: After saying bye to our team of guides then you need a private departure transfer which is included from Marangu to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight unless you have an option to have a short safari or any other option we will discuss.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Vi gjør oss klare for avreise…
Tumblr media
Og etablerer nye vennskap <3 - Aidia:</p>
Tumblr media
Jambo! Jambo bwana! Habari gani? Mzuri sana! Wageni, mwakaribishwa! Kilimanjaro? Hakuna matata! Tembea pole pole. Hakuna matata! Utafika salama. Hakuna matata! Kunywa maji mengi. Hello! Hello sir! How are you? Very well! Guests, you are welcome! Kilimanjaro? No trouble! Walk slowly, slowly. No trouble! You’ll get there safe. No trouble! Drink plenty of water. No trouble! Kilimanjaro! Kilimanjaro! Kilimanjaro, such a high mountain. Also Mawenzi, also Mawenzi! Also Mawenzi such a high mountain. Like a snake, like a snake!

Dag 6 - Horombo Camp Site (3.720 moh)
Kjappere å gå ned fra toppen, enn opp.
Tumblr media

A beautiful today along the meandering trail from Simba to Kikelewa Camp. With far less traffic than the more popular Machame and Marangu routes on #Kilimanjaro, Rongai has diverse and stunning terrain and the constant, watchful eye of Kili and its serrated neighbor, Mawenzi. It's a route that never gets old, always inspires, and, with the amazing Chagga team we have, there's tons of laughter and interaction to make the experience even richer. Our team is doing great, adapting to life at altitude, and spirits are high, especially knowing all the generosity coming from so many in support of @africaschoolassistanceproject. If you still want to make a donation and help us reach our goal of $19,340, you can do so through the link in my profile. On to Mawenzi Tarn tomorrow, one of the most beautiful camps on the mountain! #liveyouradventure @kristenrcavallo @cplating @_mattcavallo http://bit.ly/2n6JWg1

7 Days Climbing Kilimanjaro Rongai route
Rongai Route begins in the northern side of Kilimanjaro Mountain, 45km from Moshi town or 69km from Arusha town.
Rongai route is the easiest routes in Kilimanjaro, and it has become an increasingly popular route in recent years. This route is located on the northern side of Mount Kilimanjaro with a variety of spectacular landscapes together with different plants and animal’s species. The typical duration for this trip is 6 days. However, you can also add an acclimatization day and make it 7-day climb. The Rongai Route is more scenic than the Marangu Route and easier than other camping route in climbing Kilimanjaro and the success rate on the Rongai Route is very high. Unlike the Marangu Route where you sleep in huts, on the Rongai Route you sleep in tents, the porter will have your tent pitched and waiting for you at the end of each day’s trek. This route starts on the north side of the mountain just south of the Kenyan border and is one of the least traveled routes. The route merges with the Marangu Route for the summit climb. The descend follows the Marangu Route on the mountain’s southeast side, so you will ably see Kilimanjaro from many viewpoints. There are two versions of this trek – a direct 6-day itinerary, and a 7-day itinerary that takes a longer route. The 6-day itinerary is described down below and the longer variation is described in the extra day’s section. 7 days kilimanjaro
