How Well Does the Sims Legacy Collection Perform With and Without Mods? Despite my nervous energy and reservations, I decided to buy the Legacy Collection of The Sims 1 and 2. I don’t know why I’ve had such a visceral reaction to the re-release—but it seems odd when something you’ve loved so dearly for years, and so quietly, becomes a loud re-release.
