Deathstars - Newcastle University Student Union - 11th November 2023

It was the best concert, first concert I've been to on my own and I flew on my own for the first time from Belfast to Newcastle to go to it. Got speaking to loads of lovely people at the concert and the VIP meet and greet before hand so I was there on my own but had people to talk to.

i go absolutely wild for genderbends in the right context. certain kinds of genderbends make me extremely happy. but the issue is that i'm also very picky so i will look at like 99% of genderbends and get mad at them bc they suck and are bad. but that last 1% which are actually good........ unbeatable. y’know. so i continue dredging through the crap because occasionally i find a diamond in there................

there was something so fun about my Emo days. like when i was this random teenager walking around an RAF base in Germany with my messy eyeliner and 20 different frerard fanfics open in different tabs i actually really liked myself. and things were simpler. and i didnt have many friends but i didnt need many because i spent all of my time thinking about bands and scroll through tumblr and listen to music and look at band memes on pinterest and i was just so much happier y'know? i kind of want to go back to those days but also i got bullied a bunch and its taken me forever to cover up the emo reputation so i cant go back there (at least not outside of my bedroom)

also the community was so nice. i miss the friends i made in the comments of band fics on wattpad. they were really nice and i wish i could talk to them again and see where they are now
