So after several days of trying to make a cool ghost girl costume happen, I gave up and was a demon/vampire girl lol I had fangs in too. It was an awesome night with @_november_rush and Leeni (don’t know their insta whoops) at #snailoween :) There were a lot of awesome costumes and not to mention catering! Endless chips and dip to fuel the drunken munchies lol I hope everyone is having an awesome Halloween season! This is my favourite celebration and this will be the first year I have actual trick or treaters too. Happy Halloween! I had quite the day yesterday. First, I attended a Danny Elfman tribute concert featuring the music from Tim Burton films. With Batman Returns being one of my favourite films and Catwoman one of my favourite characters, I had to do something as an homage to both. So, over the past two weeks(on and off), I hand stitched every stitch into one of many black dress shirts I own. And I also wanted a cool little clutch to go with it, so I created a "Hell Here" image in photoshop and got it printed on a pouch. I must say, I absolutely love the results. I can't wait to wear this shirt more often. Secondly, I attended the "Snailoween" Halloween party hosted by Silver Snail Comics, here in Toronto. I had a blast. I spent a lot of time on this costume. Most of it was bought, but a lot of little things went into it. Can't wait to wear it again!

i didn't expect pinkie to make it to the end of the month. but here she is, still alive. she's blurry because she's hiding in bunny's house to give her snailoween spooks. that's a hard place to take a picture.

An Update

So I still have not even finished the pattern for the tunic of my halloween costume and am very very stressed about that. I’ve also missed 3 days of work this week because of my back problems. I went in Wednesday after taking Tuesday off even tho it hurt like hell and spent the entire day trying to not cry behind my machine cuz I was in that much pain. So when I woke up yesterday and again today in the same amount of pain, I just couldn’t bring myself to actually go in.

At this point I don’t know if I’ll be done Breha in time to wear it to Snailoween and I’m actually quite upset about that. But I also can’t work on it if I’m this hurt. So I’m trying to convince myself that it’s ok. But I’m really not ok with it at all. I really wanted to get it finished so I can start on the several other costume projects I have to do for myself (Keyleth) and others (a BB-9E gown to match my BB-8 for a friend).

So this plus a stressful situation with a friend, plus lack of money due to missing so much work, plus an ex getting drunk and calling me out of nowhere only to ghost again has left me more than a little all over the place rn and my mental health is really taking a toll here.
