1.Kitchen soap or dish washing liquid is a type of detergent that contains sodium lauryl ether sulfate and linear alkylbenzene sulphonic acid as anionic surfactant,sodium hidroxide for adjusting PH, sodium chloride for viscosity, which all together deter oil, food leftovers and stain from kitchen dishes, pots and cutlery. It is processed to be safe on the skin and also be used for handwashing. It comes in different forms such as cartridges, powder, liquid, gel and other forms. 

2.Laundry soap: This type of soap is used for laundry, it is usually made in powder or liquid form. It contains surfactants, enzymes, bleach, optical brightener, fragrances, soil a tire deposition agents, fillers, form regulators, corrosion inhibitors, formulation acids and dye transform inhibitors. The process of washing involves removing soils from fiber surfaces. The surfactants laundry soap has two types of molecules, one molecule is made to easily be dissolved into water and the other easily dissolves into stain. The water molecules pull the surfactant and dirt away from the clothes. 

3.Novelty soap: Apart from washing, this type of soap is physically designed for fun use. It is made in different colors, shapes and scents. It can therefore be used for decoration purposes. This soap is designed with different art features and can also be according to the custom orders of the buyer. 

4.Guest soap: This is the type of soap specifically supposed to be used by guests. They usually look more good and expensive as compared to other types of soap. They are usually used on special occasions such as when guests are going to stay at a home for a period of days. 

5.Medicated soap: This is the type of soap that usually contains ingredients that heal the skin such as white heads, black heads, clogged pores, bacterial infections, fungal infections are others. Medicated soap also contain anti aging skin ingredients, fight acne, give the skin a brighter tone, etc. Some Medicated soap is anti-bacterial soap which reduces and  prevents bacterial infection. 

6.Beauty soap: This is a type of soap which cleans the skin from germs that cause skin infections and diseases. This also means that it is made to protect the skin from skin diseases such as acne, pimples, fungal infections etc. They usually have more oil than regular soap for nourishing the skin. Some beauty soap also contains ingredients that makes your skin to glow, make the skin look smooth, prevent acne etc.
