..Fear can paralyze us. Doubt can entrap us. Both can keep us so wrapped up in our Past that we can neither enjoy the Present nor have Hope for the Future. Yet, God's word reminds us of this: We have NOT been given the Spirit of Fear! Instead, God gave us His Spirit, the spirit of: Power and Love and Self-Control. And, Freedom. So, when the thoughts and shadows of your Past seem to rise up and threaten your Present Peace remember you can Overcome because God's spirit now dwells in You! Remember that you are Free! With this Freedom, and through his Holy Spirit, comes the Power to Fight the shadows of Fear and Doubt that entrapped you Before. By his Spirit you can not only Love who you have become, but also Love others on their Journey from Broken to Blessed, from Fearful to Faithful, from rejected to Restored. Most importantly, because of the Spirit that he gave you You now have Self-Control. So, what used to Anger you can now be Ignored. The things which used to Conquer you can now be Overcome. The past which used to Embarass and Stifle your praise can now be used as an Example to Spark someone else's Breakthrough..
