Today's V-Jump reveals feature the Synchro retrain of Z-ARC (regular corrupt form), and Main Deck Code monster for Decode Talker Heatsoul, which was released back in Legendary Gold Box.

I was expecting something potentially Lightwurm related, so I guess this counts. Synchro Z-ARC has no special properties, it just requires a Tuner, and DARK Pendulum, so you can just Summon it with Lightwurm, and Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes.

Yes, expect purified form of this as well, as well as Xyz/Standard versions of Z-ARC. Though I don't know how a Tribute Summon, or a Main Deck Special Summon Z-ARC would work, they might default into a Ritual Z-ARC (which will likely happen anyway for Original Dimension, most likely). Of course, expect a Rank 13 version of the purified form of Xyz Z-ARC, and a LINK-6 version of Arc-Ray Dragon (but not regular Z-ARC, for obvious reasons), as well. Hey remember when Yuya was the protagonist of ARC-V? Good times.

Since Synchro Z-ARC features Clear Wing, I guess the next ARC-V main set in January 2025 will be Yugo focused, though that is subject to change, depending on December 2024 set.

For the VRAINS one, this likely means we are getting LINK-6 Borrel for the next VRAINS set, since Borrelend Dragon was from Legendary Gold Box. Also, I guess the next Main Deck Code monster for Yusaku will be for Protectcode Talker.

The new reveals also feature bunch of reprints, most interestingly one of Fairy Tails (Fairy Tail - Snow), Yusaku's Accesscode Talker, and Splash Mage, and Revolution Falcon - Airraid for the Phantom Nightmare Raidraptor support. It also features all the remaining Token reprints for the Token Pack, which includes Shun, though GX group only has Judai, Edo, and Asuka.

Since Token Pack is also here, tomorrow should be Legacy of Destruction (unless there is no reveal on Friday, or other merch from Duelist Box is revealed), there will be much more to discuss there, though this batch already gave more stuff to discuss.

Next month's Duelist Box reveal will likely feature ZEXAL, and the DM card should be revealed in the Jump Festa stream, like Armed Neos from Secret Utility Box.

Role-Play thread | Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V : fifth arc

Story OC insert to YGO:Arc-V set in alternate universe , what if Yuya had a older brother ? What would Change, What would remain the same.

The concept behind this is a cross between Gx and Arc V based on the latter series. Our world is split into 2 sides light and dark. These forces do not mean good or evil but more so the forces of life : day , night , Fire , wind , Earth , Water. Then just like Arc-V has it the world split into 5 dimensions ( Xyz , synchro , fusion , stranded , Spirit ) in which stranded is the central world that is both light and dark. Just like in the anime the setting is a inter-dimensional war being fraught with duel monsters.

Intro

5000 years ago in an unknown nation there lived a king whose name is now lost but is known as the dragon emperor. He was loved by his countrymen along with his high priests .  ' Ray , Kai , Kugeki , Freyja , Raven , Karim ' The king constantly answered to the needs of his people and always protected them. Till one day darkness struck , with power came corruption and greed and the nation was torn apart some sided with the king and others with rival nations. The king led a army of monsters and people loyal to him and fought against their former countrymen. The battle concluded with neither side victorious. This king is reborn as Zarc who again is a person with good intentions and seeks to entertain his audience. However, the spectators' selfish constant demands for more brutal and exciting Duels pushed Zarc over the edge as he tried to meet their expectations. In time, he became apathetic for his opponents' well-being, willing to ruthlessly injure them rather than make an amicable connection with both them and the audience. Zarc became one with his four heavenly dragons ' odd-eyes dragon , Starveing venom fusion dragon , Clear wing synchro dragon , dark rebellion Xyz dragon. ' Two people stood in his way with the intent to save the world and protect their father , the two people split the world and zarc along with themselves. To this day the dragon emperor seeks vengeance against the people who took everything away from him including his 4 closest friends and will do anything to ensure his revival and take back his allies.

In their past life the 5 of them are the High Priests of the dragon emperor , each one of them can control one of the 4 dimension dragons. But only the dragon emperor controls all 4. However they are also the first signers. The signers powers are passed on in the form of a family line or a bond between master and student. They all have the power to summon forth the crimson dragon.

In modern times 6-10 People are chosen at each generation by the crimson dragon , mainly the people who can hear its call. it is said that these people are the incarnations or ancestors of the original signers. This method the binding occurs when someone gains mastery over one of its servants be it of light ( signer dragons ) , darkness ( duel dragons ) , or both ( 1 signer , 1 duel dragon ).

speed world

For the purpose of the fanfiction posted there has been a slight change to the effect of speed world , during a riding duel that functions similar to master rule 3. Though the effect of speed world is a field spell. the player can still play a different field spell. The effects of speed world will remain indefinitely as long as a riding duel is used players will get to use their own field effect on top of speed world effect activated as a continuous spell card. if speed world neo is used the riding duel also becomes an action duel as seen in arc v.

Sora, and Edo were the first ones to go out, since they didn't have any major Monsters remaining to showcase. Also, since Edo replaced Asuka as the Fusion representative legacy character, and since this is still technically part of the Fusion arc (though were are technically in the Fusion part of the Dimensional Distortion, so like some others do, I consider the Z-ARC episodes to be their own mini-arc), we had to showcase them first.

After Sora, Shun takes Yuya's Pendulum, and states the current form does not suit him. Considering the context of Phantom Nightmare Raidraptors though, which imply Shun might be one of the scattered pieces of Don Thousand with his new Rank 13, this is a bit more amusing in retrospect.

As we discussed before, since Z-ARC is an Extra Deck monster, its animé artwork shouldn't have the orange layout, but rather Fusion-Synchro-Xyz colors, with Pendulum green at the bottom. He is not using the Supreme King Dragon version of non-Pendulum Odd-Eyes Dragon either in his revived form. I get that we want to color balance the four Summoning methods, but even with animé standards, this doesn't work well.

It makes me glad that original Z-ARC is a Fusion Pendulum, and we got Synchro Universe for Synchro instead of complicating things. Everything considered, it would make more sense for Z-ARC have four-five different incarnations of itself for each Dimension, and their Yuboy, each with their own Decks, and LP, than the approach ARC-V the show went with. That's probably going to be the approach Duel Links is going to work with anyway.
