(Just a few weeks until Wada Ayaka’s graduation, the end of an era. Recently, the new leadership arrangement for ANGERME was announced, with Takeuchi Akari as leader and Nakanishi Kana and Kawamura Ayano as subleaders. Kawamuu is rather new, but Ayacho has always favored meritocracy over seniority systems, and if you read this blog, you should know Kawamuu is the right woman for the job.

Yesterday, before we went on, we were talking about how with Takeuchi-san as the leader and Nakanishi-san and Kawamuu as subleaders, Katsuta-san’s job must be the Final Boss, after all.

Usually when that kind of thing comes up, Katsuta-san just kind of laughs like “what the hell”, but this time she got into it and was saying “I won’t give up the Final Boss position” and it was so funny. It was such a classic Katsuta-san move.

Today, we announced the group’s new formation.

Finally the 2nd gen get to be leaders!

When it comes to...training? The new members on performance, I feel that she’s the one who does the most. I can tell from being by her side so much.

So when this was announced, I was not only happy, but also thought “it’s too perfect for her!”

I wonder what kind of group we’ll become from now on?

I think we’re gonna transform a lot, in a good way. I’m looking forward to it.

I think a lot of people naturally assumed leadership would be decided based on age and seniority, so the fact that a girl who’s both young and new was chosen...
