#cricket chirping#the magnus archives#helen distortion#TFW an identity is forced onto you and despite every attempt you make you're forced to live with it#Going through life hating the very body you inhabit and despising when it's acknowledged that it's who you are#Only to finally discard it after it becomes too much and willingly take up another identity#One that you chose yourself#And despite the hardships in the beginning you find that you like this identity so much more and embrace it fully and overall enjoy urself#It also helps that Michael never corrected anyone when called he/it but Helen doesn't like being called either of those and explicitly#prefers she/her#(THIS IS NOT MICHAEL DISTORTION BASHING BTW I LOVE MICHAEL I'm just noticing that Helen is Very Very trans)
