I think it's a little too conspiratorial to outright claim they're intentionally malicious but I think maybe people need to be more aware of the ask/reboog games they answer or put on their blog....... you should not put your full name into the tags of a post to say how common it is, you shouldn't put your location or where you went/are going to school, you probably shouldn't put the name of the tribe whose land you live on because that tells millions of strangers where you are currently. just like..... be aware use basic internet safety delete your facebook stranger danger etc

Cricket chirping sounds are produced by male crickets as a means of communication. The sound is created by rubbing their wings together, a process called stridulation. The chirping sound serves two primary purposes: attracting females for mating and establishing territory.
The frequency, pattern, and duration of the chirping can vary between species and individual crickets. The chirping is produced by the wings, which have specialized structures called file and scraper. By rubbing these structures together, the crickets create a series of clicks that resonate and amplify to form their distinctive song.
The rate of chirping is influenced by several factors, including temperature, humidity, and the cricket's age. Generally, higher temperatures increase the rate of chirping, while lower temperatures slow it down. Male crickets adjust their chirping to optimize their chances of attracting a mate, with some species producing louder and more frequent chirps to stand out among competitors.
Cricket chirping is a fascinating aspect of these insects' behavior and is often associated with warm summer evenings and rural environments. The distinct and rhythmic sound of cricket chirping is not only an auditory delight but also an important element of the natural world.

Why do crickets creak?
Male crickets make sounds by rubbing their leathery forewings, i.e. the file-like serrations on the edges of the wings rub against a sharp edge (scraper). This is called "stridulation" and is used to attract female crickets as mates. When this sound is made, the cricket's wings are raised.
What is the sound of a cricket called?
Males chirp by rubbing the edges of their forewings to call females. This rubbing is called stridulation. Various types of cricket calls are found in the repertoire of some species. The call song attracts females and repels other males and is quite loud.

Hey so your girlfriend got put into a fandom and um, they kinda. Yeah they made her the Mean Lesbian Friend. Yeah it's entirely because she's the only girl who's not overtly caring or kind. Sorry. Also they-- yeah she's characterized entirely as a wingman for the popular gay ship. Sorry again
