A note about TGOAE

I honestly doubt this will reach much of anyone but I just wanted to finally put a little note out about the fic that I havent updated in ages.

I still actually really love that fic- on it's own- but I've found myself really uninterested in Overwatch in general due to the way it's been handled and the game itself. I think I have enough passion for my fic standalone to continue writing for it, but just generally it makes it a lot harder when you're not hyperfixating on that series anymore.

I also find that I stress myself out so much over these multichapter fics and soon writing them is more scary than it ever was an expression- so that's why I've taken such a big step back and haven't really appeared to reply to comments I've recieved on the fic. I do feel thankful for everyone that spent the time to read TGOAE(especially when the starting chapters are...... trying to find themselves still lets say that) and each comment is so kind and lovely I just feel a bit bad for taking so long.

I do have the next couple chapters drafted, in fact I have the whole story planned out, I just think it will take me a while to get over myself and get into it again. Thank you for taking the time to read through my maladaptive daydreaming, and thanks for getting through this post.

TGOAE Preview for Chpt. 6

It’s (Fortunately) quiet in the hallway: Shadowed and lonely. Ramattra takes a second to collect himself, rubbing at the temple of his faceplate with his hands and sucking in long slow breaths. He leans against the wall a few paces away from Mondatta's office. Frustration, humiliation. He had both embarrassed himself and defended himself. Guilt was taking hold of him. Was he right to be mad? 

‘Ramattra?’ Zenyatta’s voice disturbs him. He looks up from his hands. The second worse person he could see right now.

‘Are you alright?’ Zenyatta asks, voice drawing out the words so slowly Ramattra wishes he could just pull them out. He squares himself straight, 

‘Fine.’ He says. ‘I was just leaving.’ He looks down his nose at his classmate, irritated betrayal steering instead of his confusion. ‘Mondatta was just asking me about-’ Zenyatta is looking at the door, like he doesn’t want to be late. ‘Y/N.’ 

You know, who I asked you not to mention. It’s clear where his loyalties lie.

‘I see.’ Is all Zenyatta has the grace to reply with.

Chapter 4! The Glimpse Of An Eye!

‘I just want you to know that what’s common , isn’t what’s normal. And you’ve got someone in your corner. ’  

He watches her for a moment, taking it in. A caring woman, through and through. She really did see him like she saw any other man. That lack of a line . Again, he didn’t know if it was a good or a bad thing. 

‘You are one of few.’ He states, making her brows upturn in sadness.

Chapter 2 of The Glimpse Of An Eye!

Ramattra studies her, beyond fascinated at the way her soft cheeks bend and squish with her smile. The corner of her eyes crinkle and her lips stretch thin with the toothy grin she does. It was unusual to him, humans. Fleshy, malleable and a weak protection for their even weaker insides. Yet the weakness of her skin was also the softness of her features. Ramattra would have studied the shifts and movements of her muscles if he could, sit close and count the imperfections and freckles. Scan the asymmetry. Learn up close, something he had always been wary of. It was… pretty . She was a prettier human than most, Ramattra thought.
