Watched Hocus Pocus 2 last night

#ax speaks#bad writing#its really just really poorly written#the actors are good the music is ok the visuals are really nice#but the writing is...yeesh#after the horrific ending my mom and i immediately started brainstorming better endings and we made like 3 good ones instantly#SPOILERS FOR THE END DO NOT READ FURTHER#winnie shouldn't have suddenly changed her mind about her feelings on the kids#she should have demanded they bring her sisters back or she'd do it herself and becca would agree to take her to her sisters#then winnie starts sparkly fading again like in the movie#but when she realizes she's going to THEM instead of them all getting to stay alive together#instead of anger she becomes tired and just accepts it before fading away to join her sisters in death for the last time after 300 years of#pain and abandonment and anger#THAT would have made more sense than winnie suddenly going you're so lucky to have eachother just right after hating the girl's guts
