i do have to say. one thing that i keep seeing around that's really annoying wrt the whole ai discussion is like...... instead of focusing on the actual issues with ai itself people kind of take this tone like people are subhuman for struggling with writing papers and it's like. come on man. keep seeing posts like "awww are you so stupid you need someone to write a paper for you" and it's like jesus christ man. are you gonna walk into your college's writing center and say that to everyone there looking for help or................ like some people need extra help with that for a whole variety of reasons! THAT is not the problem! the PROBLEM is the ai! can you stay on task or do you just wanna have a superiority complex cause you're better at writing papers than other people like... come on man

#like idk as someone who DOES struggle like not exactly with the essay part but the time management and focus of it all on account of. yknow.#wildly unmedicated adhd and such. the amount of papers ive turned in late or not turned in at all over the years? A Lot!#like sometimes people struggle with school and that is okay man THAT is not the problem here yknow?#i just feel like people want to get really very needlessly cruel and it's kind of exhausting #the PROBLEM is not the having trouble with school the PROBLEM is ai itself man. i just feel like people are really losing focus cause #they just wanna feel better than the people theyve deemed stupid yknow. it's annoying idk!#like idk it feels like suddenly people are losing all critiques of the education system and the way it's really set up against people #with disabilities & such so they can make posts like “haha moron you cant even write a paper” LIKE YEAH SOME PEOPLE STRUGGLE WITH PAPERS #THATS NOT THE PROBLEM HEREEEEEEEEEEE CAN YOU GET A GRIP & FOCUS ON THE PROBLEM WITH AI ITSELF #anyway idk rant over its just annoying. yknow what i mean
