the thing that saddens me the most about mac's situation with the lady bone demon is... him not even knowing HOW to go about untangling the mess she made of his mind. the vengeful thoughts he acted on back durring JTTW, he doesnt know how to explain what happened there. you could ask him why he did it, why he tried to kill swk's companions, why he did what he did, and he wouldnt know how to answer that with complete accuracy. deep down he knows something was seriously off with him, but it was also such a traumatic point in time for him that his memory has blurred those events, its kind of like. a haze. and its kind of emotionally compromising for him to dig into the meat of the why, too.

but he wont deny what happened or his transgressions. in fact, i think its actually easier for him just accept that version of events than it is to unpack the can of worms with LBD being involved. its easier to just say "yeah i did that".

and thats why he has such a warped idea of right vs wrong, and why he catagorizes himself & others as 'the hero or the warrior'
