On an unrelated side note, I do really like the way this Pomni is designed though, it's such small changes but it really gets across how an opposite Pomni would be

I am getting ahead of myself now, this was one of the most easiest designs I've to deal with, and I'm very happy that I was able to have enough time to do minor changes on lighting errors, which just made the final piece all the more satisfying.

Pomctober Day 6: Opposite Au

Oh Opposite Au, the very first AU I ever stumbled across. On my first Digital Circus doodle page I actually drew Opposite Gangle and Jax! I always found that AU very charming (even though it took me forever to find the creator at the time... damn reddit post).

I still think the AU has a lot of cool ideas! Even though Campbell is on instagram I hope they see the amount of fanart they've received on their Pomni recently so they are at least aware people still love their au. :]

Regarding the Opposite AU, here’s something that’s been brewing in my head for a while.

You know the end of Episode 2 where Pomni realizes she’s not alone and has real friends here in the circus? Well what if in the Opposite AU, Pomni realizes that her “friends” don’t actually care about her and that she is truly alone in this new world. And as she stands there, staring at her frowning “friends”, her happy smile slowly shifts into a frown as well. The thought is kinda depressing if you think about it.

Then she’d go from this hyperactive girl to a more mellowed out person like canon Pomni.
