I don't know anymore. Grew up in a household devoid of a father, groomed by a gambling addict of a grandfather. Transported across the country and physically, mentally and verbally abused at age 13 by a deadbeat father, told to stop drawing because it'd get me nowhere. Escaped and started commissions at age 17 to help my struggling family.

22, and I'm already at the state of collapsing because I dumped everything I ever earned into helping, and now I can't even do shit. What a fucking life I lived, huh.

What a fucking waste of two decades.

Oh, I never said it wasn't helpful, it's just that it's death messages seemed more like "oh shit I wasn't paying attention uhhhh let's see what you died to", or "Come on, you can do better than that", at least that's the vibes I'm getting. They also seem to have the tendency to be a little cheeky about their message, what with all the vague hints (that almost seem like a riddle) they give about how to avoid the monsters you encounter on the Backdoors. And the more times you die to a specific monster, the more they seem to get annoyed and tell you to pay close attention to how they work. Maybe a little bit of a disciplinarian? "I believe on learning on the job" kinda guy? 💀

Either way, it's not Curious imo, since curiosity implies they're at the very least, intrigued at what happened which.... According to the tone and delivery of the death messages, doesn't seem so-- or at least it's so not very obvious. Yellow fits the term 'Mischievous' than the Red one ever does, in fact. But I'm still vouching for "Oblivious Light" until I either think up of a better name, or see a better name from someone else lmao

(I will say though, Yellow lowkey clinging onto you but also subtly acting all tsundere about it is a good insight, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for more info because I'm currently diving into the Doors lore)

That is true, though everytime I tried to think of a substitute all I could think of was "Hostile Light" and.... That doesn't hit as hard as Guiding Light does (My brain also said "Evil Light" which... No.... Just no.....)

Speaking of which, Curious Light needs a different name too because they're definitely NOT curious, they're more like... Indifferent than anything, really 😭😭

I'm deleting the Ambush post because Jesus Christ it is backfiring on me so hard, it keeps jumpscaring me; and my stomach can no longer handle the feeling of dread everytime I look at Ambush's soulless eyes and gaping mouth

2. Mischievous' head is a black hole. I like them being more of a black hole than the interpretation of a nebula based on their symbol tbh, and that's what I did here

3. Touching Mischievous' head definitely guarantees the same effect as an actual black hole would. Soooooo don't go touching it or any part of it's "body" if you wanna live
