The gif shows how The Knight in the Panther’s Skin, a Georgian medieval epic Poem, written in 12th century, has spread through the world. It follows the history of translations and publishings of the poem. The gif speaks of the globalization in the 20th century as that is when the poem starts to really reach the world.

The countries that the poem travelled to are marked by illustrations made for the poem by artists Rusudan Petviashvili, Sergo Qebulidze, Mikhai Chiz, Mamuka Tavakharashvili, Tamar abakelia and David Matchavariani.
