Kaoru had instinctively gripped onto Uta. But by her expression she didn’t know what to say. Uta who had waited for any last words was left with nothing. Uta soon continued her leave.

Kaoru after seeing Uta leave was so shookened up by her instinct. And soon everything came crashing down. She stared at her hand, which was the last contact she’d feel from Uta.

She then finally fell to her feet in defeat. Uta was gone. I believe that Kaoru will go into a large sadness from Uta’s abstinence. A void not even Reiichi will be able to fill. While Uta will grow as a person and try learning to love herself.

I am a bit late for opinion matters but I know that some of you like it when I am analysing things or talking about yuri so ...

Recently My Unrequited Love has been licenced by Kodansha and released under the name of « if I could reach you »

I wanted to point it out if some of you like owning the books in a physical version (I personally do) but also:

I was surprised by the translation in a very good way. If I take Sevensea as reference, I do think that their translation can be pretty good, but I had some yuri experience where, I think, they kind of messed up with some chapters mood or even message.

Here... I think they did an amazing job. Not only that, but tMnR did a manga pretty realistic, with a slice of life gathering some specific moments in Japan (like, New Year Eve and the tradition in volume 3), and they put 2 pages of author notes explaining every terms in detail, how things work in Japan,...

And I think it’s really nice. They explain their translation choice if it isn’t clear or confusing , explain the culture and they do keep all the Japanese terms (the suffix and also the words that are proper to Japan) which is really enjoyable.

So for the news, apparently volume 4 will be released around March in English (before volume 5 will be out by the end of the year), and in Japan, volume 6 should be released next month :D (I will probably talk about volume 6 after chapter 30 translation because DAMN)
