Was there more to the Long Live/NYD mashup?

Hear me out on this...I was watching Rep Tour Netflix for the billionth time while running on the treadmill this morning and listening to her speech before Long Live/NYD she says “This is a song that for me will always be about you”. I get it, she STARTS with Long Live but it is essentially 2 songs in one that she commences to play.

I’m throwing a lot of pieces in the mix here, but it’s starting to make sense. First, people have pointed out that the Rep tour started out dark then got lighter and by the end of the show had incorporated a lot of the colors of TS7 so far, sort of a transition. I think the Long Live/NYD mashup was the turning point of the show.

Some theories talk about NYD being the last song on the album and therefore leading into the next...the Story of Us references, “Next Chapter”...then there’s the social media blackout before Rep and for a bit of time the fandom was fearful that she may be gone for good, not knowing what was next. Once LWYMMD was released we didn’t know what the “new Taylor” killing off the “old Taylor” meant...but as the Rep era proceeded we figured out that she was essentially killing off the demons of her past and moving forward as a new version of herself that was BETTER and HAPPY and that OUR Taylor was still very much alive and well!

Long Live highlights points like “It was the end of a decade, but the start of an age”... Taylor turns 30 this year (the end of a decade) and 30 is a milestone birthday (the start of an age). Long Live pretty much explains itself. You could write pages upon pages about how that applies here. Taylor went through a lot between 1989 and Rep and made it fairly clear that the Rep Era was all about/for her fans.

Now if you look at The Story of Us references everyone has pointed out as well as the “Speak Now” Taylor not being killed off in the LWYMMD video AND “next chapter” references, “Don’t read the last page, BUT I STAY” and the Long Live/NYD mashup I think the mashup is a reassurance of sorts to the fandom. Also “There’s glitter on the floor after the party | girls carrying their shoes down in the lobby | candlewax and Polaroids (the instax booths at tour) on the hardwood floor | you and me forevermore” could symbolize the end of tour, another reassurance that she’s here for us forever and we don’t need to worry about her leaving....and of course “Hold on to the memories they will hold on to you”

THEN she leaves the stage and the “Why She Disappeared” Poem/video plays...explaining on the deepest level what she went through in that time but revealing that she came out stronger and the happiest she’s been...also displaying the soft pastel dress and the red and purple smoke trails that match the May 13 seal on the calendar and many think also references Speak Now and “Next Chapter”.

I guess I’ll have to wait another 4 days and 14 hours to find out if I’m right! Am I close?? What do you all think!? @taylorswift @taylornation

A TS7 Story.

Once upon a time, a woman named Taylor owned a pink, jewelled heart, worth so much that all wanted to take it away from her.

There was nothing to do but to hide it away under her yellow coat, where no one could see. 

But her fear didn't stop her from going out and having a good time. She went to the parties and the balls wearing a beautiful pink ball gown, joined by her two feline companions, Meredith and Olivia. 

One day, she heard about a blue heart, and when she saw the photo, she knew it was destined to be joined to her own. 

So she grabbed her blue bicycle and set off on a journey. 

She hadn't even bothered to take off her sparkly pink dress, she just knew she had to reach her destination.

 Along the way, she came across a barn. Inside, there were a bunch of happy chicks. "Squad, squad!" they cheeped. 

But she had to continue on along the rainbow brick road...  @taylorswift @taylornation

Okay so we have the same floor as in yesterday's picture AND the same suit from the pic over here:

Not to mention the shirt she's wearing underneath the suit BUT why is she wearing a grey one here when the person wearing the grey suit in today's pic stands on the left?

Could it be possible that this is a part of a MV or anything which empowers people? And she isn't in the middle of the pic/wearing the pink suit because her matter is something way more important than "just" herself?

I don't know but does it make sense?
