Count Us In Panel

(August 17th, 2020) – Baltimore, MD–(NHENT) is now accepting submissions from Baltimore city based artists for the inaugural 2020 Count Us In Art & Poetry panel.

This exhibition is open to all art forms. We’re mainly looking for POETS & SPOKEN WORD ARTISTS to create work around the theme, “ Count Us In”. The number of entries will be limited once we reach the (5) maximum amount of submissions to showcase during the “Count Us In” free online exhibition scheduled for August 24th from 6pm-7:00pm EST. Therefore, it’s recommended to submit your entry before the deadline to participate in this event. All other submissions will be shared on our blog.

The NHENT Review Board is always looking for emerging talent in Baltimore city with fresh, new ideas and concepts. Please follow the submission guidelines before sending any materials. Only complete submissions that satisfy all requirements will be reviewed by our editors.

“It takes a community to bring awareness to the importance of the Census,” said NHENT Digital Editor Cortez Elliott. “Artists from all over Baltimore city are asked to submit original artwork or poetry reflecting what does the Census 2020 mean to their community as part of a citywide awareness campaign.” Small stipends are awarded for participants at $50 .
