so, i found a weird character i doodled in this sketchbook a while ago, so i redrew him into a new oc and im yet to name him

also, have you ever heard of a book series called the demonata by darren shan? because it is absolutely amazing so far and i highly recommend it if youre into graphic writing ^_^ featuring punk dervish and good old sharky :3

it’s only just now dawned on me that most darren shan characters don’t have official character art apart from the occasional character featured on cover art (mainly in the saga of darren shan and then again in the saga of larten crepsley)

like there’s no official designs for most of the disciples so what i’m saying is i get to go wild (within reason) with character designs when i come to drawing characters!

While reading Trials of Apollo, I'm looking back on how I got into reading books because I wasn't a reader as a kid.

Reading novels wasn't fun for me, which impacted my reading development. I couldn't focus on the words, and I lost track of my lines. By the time I was in fifth grade, I had the reading level of a 2nd grader.

Hitting middle school, I stumbled upon Cirque du Freak while everyone was reading Twilight. It was a fun series, and the next thing I knew, I was reading The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod in high school.

Then I came upon Percy Jackson at my high school book fair. The rest is history.

It's just a wild thought, really.

Currently re-reading the demonata series by Darren Shan. This time in chronological order. Starting with Bec hoping to go through the whole series this winter. It's been years since I last read these book but I was immediately hooked again. Hoping this series will get me back into reading again
