I tend to do this Round-ups before the next season starts but thanks to my vacation it was delayed until now. I still haven't caught up on all my spring shows, but I did watch and finish the shows that are going to be written up here.

Imagine being a popular, well-written, and beloved manga and getting an anime adaption this good. Most of the time, the anime gods are cruel, but sometimes they can be merciful. Soooo looking forward to S2

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc - (6/10)

Not sure how much milk the cash cow has left, but you can be sure the good farmers at Ufotable are going to keep squeezing that teet. I find it incredibly ironic that one of the complaints about DS when the manga was still ongoing is that the story progressed way too fast and now people are complaining the anime is too slow. At the very least, the switch to movie format should help the pacing issues...I hope.

Kaiju No. 8 - (8/10 (kek))

Real shit. (Kikoru spinoff when?)

Konosuba! 3 - (8/10)

Don't really have much to write tbh. It's still funny. Sucks the character designs are not as expressive as they were in the first two seasons, but we're here for the cast and they are still as good as ever.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 -(6/10)

Didn't I say I was going to drop this series? Must've forgot. Anyway, watching this for Norn, would shot up to being the best character in this show, was worth it. Still don't care for much of everything else. Rudeus still sucks.

GO! GO! Loser Ranger! - (6/10)

The Boys- I mean. Loser Ranger is a show with a good concept and plot and some of the best direction I've seen in an action show. Unfortunately, it's boggled down by the fact that most, if not all. the characters in this show are not endearing or just flat out suck. I don't know if I'll bother with S2 but this was fun despite my lack of investment.

Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night - (7.5/10)

I don't think this was as good as everyone was praising throughout it's run, but it's a very strong story nonetheless. The themes that it tackled hit a little too close to home and the drama felt very genuine. Kiui was my favorite.

Laid-Back Camp Season 3 - (7/10)

Peak comfy is back!! This time with a new studio and much more RL backgrounds. Both of which I did not like lol. Granted, eight-bit at the moment is very stretched thin giving how many shows their are working on. Maybe in the future more staff can jump on future installments of Yuru Camp and make it better than what we got. Please add Aya to the main cast

Sound! Euphonium 3 - (9/10)

Kyoani is back and stronger than ever as they bring Kumiko's high school journey to a close. The drama this season was some of the best Eupho has produced and the new characters were fantastic additions to the cast. I am sad we didn't get as many performances but the one we got in the finale more than made up for that, and even made me cry a bit. This series is so important to me and I'm glad it got to reach it's conclusion at the level. Well done Kitauji!

Nesta quinta-feira (27 de Fevereiro), a Takara Tomy Arts anunciou que a segunda temporada de Himitsu no AiPri, intitulada "Himitsu no AiPri: Ring-hen" (Arco do Anel), começará a ser transmitida a partir do dia 6 de abril de 2025.

Além disso, o horário de exibição foi alterado e o anime será transmitido aos domingos, às 9h30 da manhã, na TV Tokyo e em outras afiliadas da rede. Junto com o lançamento do anime, a nova fase do arcade de AiPri, chamada "Ring 1ª Fase", estará disponível a partir de 3 de abril. Além disso, novos brinquedos da franquia também serão lançados.

O site oficial nos apresenta a seguinte sinopse da 2ª Temporada:

Um novo semestre começou! Himari e Mitsuki agora estão no 2º ano do ginasial da Academia Paradise! (Nota: O chuugakkou são 3 anos e é equivalente ao fundamental II do Brasil) Com a chegada de novos alunos cheios de personalidades únicas, a vida na escola promete ser mais animada do que nunca.

No AiPri Verse, novas AiPris continuam surgindo! Vamos todos experimentar um novo e surpreendente Buzzlume Change (o Jewel Buzzlume Change)!

A voz da Ring Clover será feita pela Eri Kitamura, ela é conhecida por diversos papeis em séries como Madoka Magica (Sayaka), Toradora (Ami), Angel Beats (Yui), Monogatari (Karen), Show By Rock (Retoree), Precure (Cure Berry), Girls & Panzer (Darjeeling), entre várias outras.

Ela adora fazer poses e sua habilidade especial é fazer caretas legais! Ela não é boa em leitura e adormece se o texto tiver mais de três linhas.

A voz da Julia será feita pela Rio Tsuchiya, alguns de seus trabalhos notáveis são: Makoda Higuchi em iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, Hinano Hoshikita em Pole Princess, Imashino Misaki em Blue Archive, entre outros.

A voz da Eru será feita pela Rina Kawaguchi, alguns de seus trabalhos notáveis são: Luca Ikaruga em iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, Quan em Kizuna no Allele, Nico em Witch Watch, Quiry em Nikke Goddess of Victory, Moa Fukamachi em Reynatis, entre outros.

Bibi Hachiouji: Uma estudante do 1º ano do ginasial da Academia Paradise, ela é impulsiva e determinada! Ela adora tanto animais que às vezes acaba misturando os sons deles no final das suas frases!?

Seu hobby é assistir aos AiPri da Chii, e a pessoa que ela admira também é a Chii! Ela se esforça muito para se tornar uma AiPri como a Chii.

Sua voz é feita pela Momoka Terasawa, alguns de seus trabalhos notáveis são: Chikara Komari em Make Heroine ga Oosugiru, Gakuto Yuzuki em Yuzuki-san Chi no Yonkyoudai, Yuzu Hanaoka em Blue Archive, entre outros.

Nesta obra, aparecem diversos personagens com personalidades brilhantes e únicas, mas a Bibi-chan é uma personagem particularmente única, com suas próprias peculiaridades interessantes. Além da história em si ser envolvente, a forma como a Bibi-chan fala tem um toque especial, o que me deixava sempre ansiosa para conferir os roteiros.

Acho muito gratificante desempenhar esse papel. Por favor, apoiem a Bibi-chan!

Subaru Nanaura: Sob a produção de sua irmã, OtoP, ele trabalha como um idol descolado e popular no AiPri com um caráter de príncipe. Ele trabalha duro agora, mas na verdade ele é bem relaxado. Sua habilidade especial é futebol e seu hobby é colecionar coisas fofas. E ele odeia sapos!

A voz do Subaru é feita pelo Tatsuyuki Kobayashi, ele é veterano em Pretty Series tendo feito as vozes do Asahi em PriPara, do Ace e a voz de canto do Joji em King of Prism.

Sua voz é feita pela Kirara Oomori, ela é novata como seiyuu.

Wako: Bibliotecária da Academia Paradise

É dito que que a Wako terá muitos segredos, mas ainda não está claro como ela vai se envolver na história e que é para ficarem atentos quanto a ela.

Sua voz será feita pela Nagisa Saito, ela é embaixadora de Himitsu no AiPri e esse será o seu papel de estreia como dubladora. Ela já foi membro do grupo idol =Love, ela também é atriz e um papel bem notável é que ela interpreta a Ruby no live action de Oshi no Ko.

And at the end of the year, here’s my current status in mobage. (Feel free to compare to the beginning of the year!)

A3!: by far and away my most played game this year, I can’t believe I went up 112 levels... I won’t lie, there were times I considered spending money on this game in these past twelve months - haven’t yet, but sometimes I think I’m breaking. Rank 246, featuring Fushimi Omi.

Stand My Heroes: In contrast, I totally stopped playing Sutamai towards the end of the year. The UI changes got finalized early on this year, and we got the introduction of Seo Labs to the cast, with my new favorites. At the very least, I can definitely say I like Ikuto as opposed to being vaguely into Sosei. I do want to get back into this game, honestly; Match-3 are easy time sucks. Featuring Saotome Ikuto.

On Air!: The new coly game of the year, where the popularity and longevity of Sutamai meant they could make a move onto the same territory as A3! and Enstars. I give it grief given that I didn’t really play it much, but I did like my time with it. Also has a teacher character, and I’m Hot for Teacher type, so I’d like to give it a little more attention in the new year. Rank 6, featuring Kokuyou Mamoru.

Granblue Fantasy: The mobage king. I have a Mobage account (two even), so the best part about this game is that I’m never losing my data. The English is nice and convenient but I still skip stories, so my representative “favorite,” Holy Saber (female player avatar) Djeeta, is more “This is who I’m leveling right now.” This game feeds the part of the brain that likes numbers going up, in a traditional fantasy setting, and the collab events have me paying more attention to this one than A3! at times. Rank 58, featuring female Holy Saber.

SINoALICE: My other major game this year; it’s been a toss between A3!, GBF, and SINoALICE for which game has held my attention at any given time. If GBF feeds the numbers-go-up part of the brain, SINoALICE does the same in its sadistic fairytale bent. I guess my major gripe, if anything, is that all the jobs are so pretty that I want everything. Rank 106, featuring Invader Three Little Pigs.

THE iDOLM@STER SideM LIVE on ST@GE!: iM@S block! There were times I got really focused on events this year, then the grinding got to me until it came back with a vengeance for the Christmas event. BEST IDOL JIRO summoned, okay. P-Level 33, featuring Yamashita Jiro.

THE iDOLM@STER Million Live Theater Days: The way Mirishita’s home screen is set up, oshi units aren’t really a thing, because the idea is that you’re in the 765 office and you’ll run across the girls. But I love basically all my 765 daughters so picking a favorite is just too hard. That’s a lie. Mizuki. It’s Mizuki. Unlike MSte, the bulk of Mirishita’s event play definitely focuses more on the rhythm game side, so I’ve practically dropped it; but I swear I’m clinging to the daily login ritual just because there’s nowhere else for me to find these babies now. Level 54, featuring Yabuki Kana & Julia.

THE iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors: The new kid on iM@S block started up this past June? Ish? And after we all got freed from the hurdle of overseas players needing VPNs, has kept true to iM@S style with gorgeous character art and “idol production” gameplay. Shanimasu is more like traditional iM@S games than all the phone games, with zero rhythm element - the flip side is this is a game that needs babysitting, and so I just can’t deal with the attention it needs. Featuring Morino Rinze.

Shinen Resist: Or what I unfairly call “Apocalypse A3!” - Shinen Resist is honestly a pretty good game in its own right, with nice graphics, a level-up system, and a battle system that actually feels like your participation is valid. (But if you’re like me, you can still totally auto it if you want to.) Rank 9, featuring Volker.

World End Heroes: And yet another attempt from Squeenix to hit the otome mobage market this past year (after iFan), Wahiro’s biggest contribution to mobage is bringing Ogata Megumi on for a role. It’s got a lot of kinks to work out that it won’t ever because it’s a quick cash grab from Square Enix to see what will stick, but I played one event and hit a higher rank than I did for one event in Shinen Resist, and you can draw your own conclusions. Rank 23, featuring Hisamori Akito.

2018′s been a crazy year for mobage, with a lot of new games starting up; some being postponed (Palette Parade...) and others being revamped (Otome Yuusha); and a number of losses. Cocktail Prince, they still have yet to fill your niche. (And also Wiz;Alice, which ended just two months after it started...? Even though an English version was touted? Damn.)

But there’s already some stuff to look forward to in 2019, so here’s to more mobage amazement!
