I’m in love!!! 😍😍😍

Xing Zhi and Shen Li are just so deliciously beautiful together. I love their dynamic. It’s always a push and pull and there’s just so much sexual tension between them.

I’m fascinated by how utterly passionate Shen Li is about her love for Xing Zhi and how she completely embraced her feelings, even as she is determined to let it go for the sake of peace between the realms. On the other hand, there is Xing Zhi with his inscrutable mien, neither confirming nor denying his own feelings towards Shen Li. He is very composed and treats Shen Li’s confessions of love so matter-of-factly that it irritates her. Yet he is always there for her and loves to be in her company.

I’m still just in the middle of the series so I won’t say more, but I just love these two. I haven’t been so completely taken by a CDrama OTP since “Till The End Of The Moon” and “The Legend of Zhuohua”. ☺️

The promos for this do not excite me (I don’t dislike them either, I am just vaguely “oh ok” about them) but I love the leads so I will check it out, especially since my track record in terms of being able to predict whether a cdrama will work for me based on a trailer is abysmal.

Legend of Zhuohua

I had no expectations for it, but I’m sort of enjoying it? Tonally, it reminds me of the sword and the brocade (it’s not quite glory of tang dynasty which starts out with the emperor killing 3 of his sons).

Also, it helps that Feng Shao Feng’s Lord Ding character is my catnip. Jaded war general that can actually be a believable general? Yes please.

So I might actually finish a drama this year. We’ll see.
