#My sister is getting a kitten tomorrow and I am trying SO hard not to be a joy thief about it but I think it's a bad idea#I would love to be wrong but like.#Their current cat is crazy. He is friendly as heck but has no boundaries and is a bit territorial#They frequently go away for 3 days at a time (which just makes me sad for the cat(s))#And a kitten is SO much work and it's the holidays??#They are looking at buying a house and stuff and their place is fairly small#Anyway I think it's going to be tough and it's dumb to get a kitten two days before you're basically out of town for 48 hours#But what do I know#The only two times I've lived with a baby kitten one was very needy attention wise and benefited#From an older cat teaching it some things#And the other time idk how the cat was cared for because I was never home and then it was taken away#((but also I'm probably a little jealous because I feel like she has her life figured out and I do not. Which is a bit of a thought#Distortion))
