I didn’t expect coming back to the town where I was born to be so jarring.
#mom fell out with her family so we’re in town to visit *other* family#The rv park we stopped at has a flag with the local university team logo on it#(Which is also a semi-nationally known team)#And all of a sudden my brains like ‘hey remember all the fun memories associated with that flag???’#bc a similar flag hung at my grandparents house#That is the grandparents we are not going to see. So
