Hi Anon! I love them too! Feel free to send me Eddie and Wayne prompts anytime!! (#TheMunsons ?)
Anyways enjoy this lil drabble with Eddie being a grump 🥺
*******************************************************
Eddie’s van came to a halt outside of the Munson trailer. Wayne could hear the door shut and the too-heavy sound of his nephew’s steps coming up the porch.
The door handle jiggled a couple of times before he heard an exasperated, “FUCK!” as the door opened. Clearly Eddie was having trouble with the lock today.
“Hey son, how was school?” Wayne asked from the recliner where he was reading a mechanic handbook.
Eddie didn’t answer, only throwing his bag onto the floor.
“Hey I’m talking to you, Eddie!”
“It was shit, okay?” The young man stormed off to his bedroom, slamming the door. Wayne swears he could almost see the steam coming out of his ears.
He closed his book and slapped it on the table getting up and walking to his nephews room, opening the door. Eddie was plugging the amp into one of his electric guitars, getting ready to angrily play music it seemed.
“Eddie! I understand havin’ a bad day sometimes, but what have I said about slamming doors in this trailer?” His voice was calm, but the tone was stern.
“D’ndo’it” Eddie mumbled.
“What?”
Eddie whipped around, giving Wayne a death glare, “Jesus Christ I said ‘Don’t do it’!!!”
The kid was so upset he was sweating, small beads forming on his forehead. “Now listen here Ed, I may not be your father but you don’t use that tone with me.”
Eddie pretended not to hear him and went to reach for the neck of his guitar, Wayne intercepting midway and grabbing Eddie by the wrist - his wrist that felt warm.
With one hand still holding Eddie’s wrist, Wayne brought the other up to graze his nephew’s forehead - Eddie pouting the whole time.
“No wonder you got your panties all in a twist. You’re running a fever Eddie!”
“Don’t care.” He mumbled again.
“I know you, son, and I know that’s bullshit.” Wayne looked him up and down, making sure it was a good time before he pulled Eddie into a gentle hug. “Why don’t you tell me how you really feel.”
Eddie pulled back, still pouting, eyes glazed with what might have been tears. “I feel like shit. I’m sorry I yelled at you.”
“I’ll let it slide just this once because you ain’t feeling well. But you gotta let me help you okay?”
Eddie nodded and sat on his bed as Wayne left the room for a minute, returning with a glass of ice water and two pills.
“Take these: Tylenol and cold water. Should bring your temp down a little.”
Eddie tipped his head, knocking back the pills before taking the glass of water and sipping on it.
“Thanks Uncle Wayne.”
“Anytime, kid. Now get in bed and sleep off that diva attitude of yours.”

People Are Sharing The Dumbest Ways They Managed To Injure Themselves (57 Pics)
Accidents and injuries can happen in the strangest places and the most peculiar ways. And most of us can agree that they occur most often when we least expect them. Plenty of us have hurt ourselves pretty badly doing mundane, routine, everyday tasks. While we might brag about the huge scar on our faces having come from rabid velociraptors that we fought off with only our bare fists, only our closest friends know that we really slipped on a banana peel and crashed into our fridge handle.
When the Super 70s Sports account asked Twitter users what the dumbest freak injury in their lives was, people rushed to share their experiences. As it turns out, people can be really fragile.
Scroll down to read through our list of hilarious and dumb injuries, and be sure to upvote the stories you enjoyed. If the stories made you smile or laugh, why not share them with a few buddies to improve their mood while they wait for the weekend? And if you have any experience with dumb injuries yourselves, share what happened with everybody in the comments! After all, grief (or in this case pain and shame) shared is halved. And joy shared is doubled.

Nobody wants to think that they’re not safe in their homes. But the truth is, plenty of accidents happen at home (just like lots of car accidents can occur near where you live because you may relax too much when thinking you’re completely safe).

For example, in 2007, 2.7 million people in England were injured in a home accident. While in the United States, almost half of the accidents that lead to the deaths of young adults and children happen at home.

Things that can seriously harm us are usually small: failing to put up a carbon monoxide detector, having a leaky hot water heater, an untucked carpet on the stairs, a slippery bathtub, a greasy kitchen or a malfunctioning garbage disposal unit. These are all things that can be the difference between life and death.

Statistically speaking, the kitchen and the bathroom are the two rooms in your home that you’re most likely to get injured. Now, it doesn’t mean that you should curl up into a ball and hide under your bed for the rest of your life. But it does mean that you should be aware of sharp knives and wet floors. And if you’re working outside your home, be wary when you’re mowing the lawn or cleaning the gutter: you’re most likely to hurt yourself while doing those two things. If you want to keep your kids safe, give them some other chores to do than mowing the lawn.
