#thiam royalty au say what 👀#monarch and knight dynamic#I blame thirty seconds to mars for this idea#btw Theo is the prince and Liam is the knight in this scenario#Theo is a part of the new ruling kingdom (or empire idk yet) that took over after invading the old one (which was ruled over by Scott)#Liam was the old kingdom’s prince and as a way to keep the enemy close but also humiliate the new ruling king/emperor placed him to be#Prince Theo’s knight and he is forcibly sworn into a magically binding contract in order to not betray his lord and kill him#meanwhile Scott is assembling an army to fight back & keeps in contact with Liam is still personally loyal to Scott NOT Theo#which Theo is aware of but doesn’t tell his rulers bc he has his own personal agenda#but this is literally all I have#bare bones#of course it’s a slow burn romance multi chapter fic ideas because I’m so predictable and love placing huge projects at my feet 🤧#thiam#thiam au#thiam royalty au#must quickly make my leave before i am sucked back into lmk
