I admit it, the synopsis sounded very preachy but it was a very nice, helpful read about healing and transformation and it couldn't have come at a better time!

The book mostly deals with repressed or unprocessed, subdued emotions and how to tackle them when they pose a problem, which they do. While it's not a preachy guide it does offer advices and a sort of help to anyone who is looking.

For me, I like the grounded ideas and advices this book provides and I think I would like to use it in my real life.

A great, quick read.

Hola necro, de nuevo yo con otra consulta. Una disculpita si recurro a ti demasiado estos días. A ver, hice mi código js para mover elementos, sin embargo, algo me esta fallando y sigo buscando y buscando, pero no encuentro dónde está mi falla. Te explico: De los campos del perfil intento mover el primer elemento y el tercero, el primer elemento es una frase y se tiene que mover debajo del nombre (si se mueve), el tercer elemento son stats (que intente seguir como has respondido a un anon, pero no entendí tu código de mover, no importa porque pues tengo el que hice y si se mueve), pero... aquí me da el problema. cuando estaba probando en mensajes el código, para el tercer post que hago, abajo de la imagen también se mueve otro campo de perfil, es decir, el primer campo el de la frase y el quinto campo se ponen juntos y no sé cómo modificar mi código js para que solamente el primer y el tercer elemento se muevan. Also, no sé si el código este mal en la lógica, porque unicamente ocurre este error en el tercer post, no en el primero, ni en el segundo, ni en el cuarto o posteriores a este. Ahora bien, lo que quiero que haga mi código es que se seleccionen únicamente dos elementos (el primero y el tercero), sin involucrar a los otros elementos. He intentado con :nth-child() seleccionando primero y tercero, sin embargo, se seleccionan los otros elementos de la lista, es decir, el 5to, 7mo etc, intente modificarlo con :nth-of-type(), sin embargo, no me selecciona los elementos que quiero, solo un quinto que coloca debajo del nombre, dónde debería ir la frase y el tercero de los stats no lo mueve. ¿Sabrías cómo puedo solucionarlo? El código es el siguiente:

Con el anterior mueve los campos, sin embargo el quinto campo también aparece junto con el primero (la frase). he intentado variando con:

¡Hola mxrtee! Veamos a ver. He revisado el código JS y he hecho un mock de un posible HTML con las clases y demás que veo presentes en el JS y funciona a las mil maravillas, incluso con múltiples .post. Pero claro, mi HTML no será exacto al tuyo seguro. Incluso añadiendo otros tipos de children dentro de .pbdts, cambiar a :nth-of-type() en lugar de :nth-child() debería ser más que suficiente.

Cosas a checar:

Haz console.log() a lo largo del código. Loggea las variables firstElement, thirdElement, targetPhf, targetPstst. Debería generarte objetos; los que no existan saldrán con length:0, y los que sí existan, con length:1. Ahí ya tienes un primer check para ver si todos los posts están iguales, que deberían serlo si lo estás testeando todos con la misma cuenta. Haz lo mismo con los ifs dentro de los mismos, con un mensaje indicativo (por ejemplo, "Primer item movido", "Tercer item movido"). Si alguno de los mensajes de los ifs no salen, ya habrás encontrado el módulo que tiene el error.

Otra opción que se me ocurre es que haya algún otro JS que esté añadiendo o alternando el DOM de algún modo en esa zona y que esté añadiendo (o retirando) items.

Lo último que checaría sería la manera en la que estás seleccionando firstElement y thirdElement. Seleccionar por hijo puede ser problemático si los perfiles no tienen todos los campos exactamente iguales, por lo que mi recomendación sería seleccionarlos por contenido (del label). Puedes usar :contains() y luego extrapolar hasta el parent. Por ejemplo, con este HTML:

Yo preferiría seleccionarlo tal que así, para asegurarme de que si por algún casual grupo no está designado y hay otro field como :nth-child(1), ese field en concreto no se seleccione:

var firstElement = $(this).find('.ppflabel span:contains("Grupo")').parents('.ppfield');
