Hey so I felt like being evil today so here you go guys

"I stole this from father!" Sakura looked around, worried that someone saw her. She was never the troublemaker between them. Rin smiled. "Thank you, Sakura." She took the jewel and held it close to her heart, but the moment she did so, Sakura started crying. "S-Sakura?!" "We…We won't be sisters anymore… I will be so lonely…" "That's not true! You still have father and mother!" Sakura shook her head. "But I want you too. Why do you have to leave?" Rin sighed. "You understand, don't you? Sakura needs special care because of her rare magic, but you have more potential. Unlike her, you'll thrive under any circumstances." Tokiomi smiled down at her. "If I send her away, it would break her spirit." Rin didn't understand, and it frustrated her. If he wanted them to learn so badly, then why couldn't he just teach them both? Rin had no good answer to give, so instead, she took off her ribbon, and tied Sakura's hair with it. "You gave me the jewel, and I gave you my ribbon." Rin smiled. "That way, we'll always think of each other, okay?"

Nothing could have prepared her for the Matou training. No. It wasn't training. It was pure torture. She cried for days down there, with Zouken watching over her with amusement. No matter how many times she begged him to make it stop, he ignored her. At some point, she stopped screaming. "What's the deal with you?" Shinji, her new brother looked at her as if she was some alien. "You never speak. You're not mute, are you?" Rin opened her mouth to say something, but she shook her head instead. "So that little freak has gone non verbal. Serves you right, stupid high and mighty Tohsakas." Byakuya stood at the doorway, looking wasted as usual. That's right. The matous no longer had magic circuits, so they hated anyone who did. Even at such a young age, Rin understood Zouken's manipulation. He wanted to make everyone feel inferior. "Tsk. So you're not gonna say anything, you brat? Think you're too good for us?" "Father! I know she is being impolite, but I'll teach her manners myself!" Shinji stood between them, looking anxious. "Are you saying I'm not needed here?" His father wasn't pleased. He raised his bottle, and Rin saw fear flashing in the boy's eyes, and perhaps it was an older sister's instincts, but she pushed him out of the way as Byakuya struck the bottle down. It broke against her head, and she fell to her knees, bleeding. It didn't hurt. "Byakuya!" Rin couldn't lift her head up, but she knew who it was. Uncle Kariya's hurried footsteps turned into a jog as he pushed his brother against the wall, raising his fist. But Rin didn't want him to get into a fight. Uncle Kariya was sick. He might go down with one punch. She forced herself up, and held on to his leg, silently begging him not to start a fight he couldn't win. His eyes softened. "I'm sorry. Let's take care of your injuries." She was fine. It didn't hurt.

"There. The bleeding stopped." Kariya smiled softly, while closing the bandages around her head. "I'm sorry I didn't show up sooner."

Rin placed a hand on his arm to let him know it's okay. "Say, Rin-chan. I haven't heard your voice in a while. Could you say anything to your uncle?" He prompted gently, but no words came out of her. "...it's okay, don't push yourself. I'll get you out of here when I win the holy grail war."

The door opened, revealing Shinji, spying on them. "...Is she okay?"

"Are you worried about your sister?" Kariya teased him, and the boy blushed and closed the door.

He came back the next minute and walked towards Rin, shoving a notebook and a pen towards her.

Rin blinked.

"It's so we can talk, idiot!" Shinji crossed his arms and looked away. "You do know how to write, don't you? I won't teach you if you don't, I'm a busy person, you know!"

Rin raised an eyebrow, and wrote something: I know how to write. Seaweed hair >:T
