I’m very excited about the Oilers win and everything, but I’m also super grateful because this game was kind of a big deal for Stu.

After struggling a lot against Vancouver in the second round, and getting pulled and benched for a couple games, public opinion of him was low and nobody was really sure if he would be our number one (I never doubted!!). People lost a lot of faith in him, and that was really frustrating to see.

So managing to come out with a win, IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS NO LESS, is amazing. This was a redemption game for him, and I don’t know about y’all, but I think he redeemed himself. Those two goals were very unfortunate, but Stu didn’t let them get to him in overtime. He stood tall and allowed Edmonton to come out with a win.

Stuart Skinner is Edmonton’s goalie, and as of right now, he’s our number one and he deserves it, he’s battled hard and has rebounded (No hate to Picks, love him!!!!). So yeah, I’m just feeling very silly after that win and what it meant for lovely Stuuuuuu 🥰🥰🥰
