Original caption:
BANFF BY NIGHT (in 4K)
I present a 3-minute music video featuring new time-lapses shot in Banff National Park, Alberta, in July 2018, along with some older sequences shot from 2011 to 2016.
The movie is edited and rendered in 4K resolution, but maintains the original 3:2 aspect ratio of the DSLR camera frame.
The older sequences, a couple of which I have used in earlier videos, have been re-processed. All image processing was with Adobe Camera Raw, Adobe Bridge, LRTimelapse, and assembly with TLDF, often with its frame-averaging option for slight frame blending.
Locations are all viewpoints and scenic sites well-known by day, but here presented with the Moon, stars, and Milky Way by night.
Locations include (in order of appearance): • Vermilion Lakes (for a wonderful Full Moon rise) • Two Jack Lake • Waterfowl Lakes (Icefields Parkway) • Lake Louise • Peyto Lake (Icefields Parkway) • Storm Mountain Viewpoint (Bow Valley Parkway) • Moraine Lake • Bow Lake (Icefields Parkway) • Lake Herbert (Icefields Parkway) • Mt. Norquay
The aurora sequence is from August 31, 2016, shot from Moraine Lake, looking north over Desolation Valley.
Cameras employed ranged from an old Canon 7D and 5D MkII, to the current Canon 6D MkII, Nikon D750 and Sony a7III. I employed an eMotimo TB3 pan-tilt device for the one motion control sequence at Waterfowl Lakes. I shot all other sequences with static cameras.
The music, a new piece entitled "Inspiring Innovation," is by Adi Goldstein (AGSoundtrax.com)

Specifications In A Contract
As the universe of development creates, adjusts to the BIM condition and grasps the difficulties of turning into a computerized industry, the specification is as yet a basic piece of the development procedure. It is as basic now as it has ever been, and frames a vital piece of the BIM condition, venture coordinated effort and its related advanced documentation, created from the preparation organize and utilized on through to the administration of the benefit. A specification is a record that depicts, in words, what can’t be envisioned or clarified on a drawing or in a model. This isn’t as it were appropriate to development; similar standards can be applied to all ventures, from the aviation, oil and gas and car enterprises to assembling. In development, the specification can cover everything from the foundation of the site, the sort of agreement to be utilized, the exhibition criteria of the benefit, the nature of the frameworks and products, which measures are pertinent and how they ought to be executed, to even the products which are to be utilized. The kind of the specification can identify with the venture or the obtainment course, regardless of whether it is execution based, prescriptive or proprietary, which are all reliant on the undertaking prerequisites. Specifications are required during the plan arrange, are a piece of the agreement documentation, and assume a key job in venture satisfaction. Each future agreement has a fundamental resource, the amount of the benefit, conveyance area, and conveyance date. When you need help with specifications in contracts, you need to call Ascent Law LLC for a free consultation.

At the point when a gathering goes into a fates contract, they are consenting to exchange an advantage, or hidden, at a characterized time later on. This benefit can be a physical ware like raw petroleum, or a monetary product like outside cash. At the point when the benefit is a physical item, to guarantee the quality, the exchange stipulates the worthy evaluations of the ware. Prospects contracts for budgetary products are justifiably progressively clear: the U.S. dollar estimation of 100,000 Australian dollars is the U.S. dollar estimation of 100,000 Australian dollars. Every future agreement indicates is the amount of the product conveyed for a solitary agreement, otherwise called agreement size. For instance: 5,000 bushels of corn, 1,000 barrels of unrefined petroleum or Treasury bonds with an assumed worth of $100,000 are all agreement sizes as characterized in the fates contract specification. The exchange characterizes the agreement size to address the issues of market members. For instance, members who wish to take a theoretical or supporting situation in the S&P 500 prospects contract, however, can’t chance the introduction of that size agreement ($250 x the S&P 500) can rather utilize the E-smaller than expected S&P 500 fates agreement to pick up that presentation ($50 x the S&P 500 Index). A fates contract additionally determines where the advantage will be conveyed upon execution. Conveyance is a significant thought for certain physical ware markets involving critical transportation costs. For instance, the arbitrary length blunder contract at CME Group indicates that conveyance must happen in a particular state and a specific kind of freight car. At long last, every prospect’s contract is alluded to by its conveyance month. Dealers allude to the March Corn contract or the December WTI contract since this point, later on, is pertinent to the worth and execution of the agreement position. Contingent upon the agreement showcase, conveyance can be somewhere in the range of one month to quite a while later on. The exchange determines when conveyance will happen inside the month and when a given agreement starts and ends exchanging.
youtube
Regularly, exchanging for an agreement is stopped a couple of days before the predefined conveyance date. Every future agreement will be involved in an alternate arrangement of specifications that set the terms for how that product will exchange. Significantly, you realize this data before exchanging it. Here are the various segments of agreement specifications: • Agreement image – Each agreement will have a one of a kind base image that recognizes it from different products. For instance, the base image for the E-Mini S&P 500 is ES and the base image for the E-Mini NASDAQ 100 is NQ.
• Exchange – a similar product can be recorded on numerous exchanges, so each agreement will have a specific exchange related to it that rundowns that specific agreement. For instance, WTI unrefined petroleum is exchanged on CME Group’s NYMEX exchange with the agreement image CL and WTI raw petroleum is additionally exchanged on’s ICE Futures US exchange with the agreement image WBS.
• Agreement size – Each agreement will have a standard size related to it and, when joined with price, will characterize the agreement or notional worth. For instance, the full-sized raw petroleum contract size on CME Group’s NYMEX exchange is 1,000 barrels and, when the price of raw petroleum is $100, each agreement has an estimation of $100,000.
• Months – Each agreement will have a lot of lapses a very long time wherein the agreement will be recorded and exchanged. For instance, the E-Mini S&P 500 agreement has quarterly agreement developments, implying that the agreement exchanges March, June, September, and December months just for a given year. While a few contracts are recorded in quarterly lapses, different contracts, for example, unrefined petroleum, have each period of the given year recorded and others have extra termination postings considered sequential months that are recorded in the middle of quarterly terminations.
• Tick size – The base addition of price vacillation is characterized as a tick and each contact has a related tick size and incentive for each tick. For instance, the E-Mini S&P 500 agreement has a tick size of a fourth of a record point, implying that the agreement exchanges 0.25 augmentations, and each tick is worth $12.50. While ticks allude to the base price increase change, focuses allude to least entire number augmentation of price vacillation and will be included various ticks. For instance, a point for the E-Mini S&P 500 is 1.00 and can be shown by the list ascending in price from 1800.00 to 1801.00, while, a tick increment would be spoken to by the file ascending from 1800.00 to 1800.25. Since the tick esteem is $12.50 and the tick size is 0.25 file focuses, point esteem approaches $50.00.

Specifications regularly used to be one of the last things composed before a bundle was given for delicate, however, this has changed after some time, and particularly with the approach of building data demonstrating (BIM). Specification composing should start at an opportune time in a task lifecycle. Beginning time specifications can be viewed as a major aspect of the audit with the customer about what they are hoping to accomplish on the venture. This beginning time work likewise gives a comprehension of the presentation prerequisites of the venture, with the goal that when conversations create on edifices, elements, space, areas, components, frameworks and products, these structures some portion of the development of a specification. The data fused in the customer’s EIR (Employer’s Information Requirements) at that point all add to the development of the task specification. Generally, specifications are about information correspondence, and the exchange of data between the customer, the architect and the temporary worker. As I would like to think, as the information necessities on ventures become increasingly perplexing and we take a stab at the more joint effort, it is vital that everybody has a similar premise of undertaking prerequisites, and this causes specifications as fundamental now as they to have at any point been. For more than 40 years, the group here at NBS has been creating and conveying specification products and devices which permit their clients to compose and convey development specifications in a BIM situation. NBS Create, specifically, is perfect for venture coordinated effort, permitting groups to create and refine data for the life of the undertaking. Our scope of administrations, for example, NBS Plus, RIBA Product Selector and NBS National BIM Library interface building product makers to development experts through an interesting blend of specification and development information aptitude.
The contract specifications will frequently train the contractor to accomplish more than just form a specific structure component utilizing certain materials. While once in a while the specifications will teach the contractor to assemble a component in a specific manner, different occasions the specifications will train the contractor to develop a structural component in a way that accomplishes certain destinations. The contrast between these two sorts of the specification is significant because it directs the degree of hazard a contractor is accepting. An exhibition specification presents the standard of execution to be accomplished. The contractor is relied upon to practice its judgment in how best to accomplish the exhibition standard. A fundamental cause of a presentation specification is if a specification expresses that the contractor will build an HVAC framework will keep up a specific degree of temperature and stickiness level, however, leaves the plan of the framework important to accomplish the necessary temperature and mugginess levels up to the contractor playing out the work.
On the other hand, a plan specification depicts in detail the materials and gear the contractor must utilize and the way where the work must be performed. As one court put it, “plan specifications state how the contract is to be performed and license no deviations. Execution specifications, then again, indicate the outcomes to be gotten, and leave it to the contractor to decide how to accomplish those outcomes.” This differentiation is basic since when a contractor consents to structure a framework to meet a presentation specification, it warrants that the framework will proceed as guaranteed. Then again, a contractor that structures a framework just to meet the plan specification rules makes no guarantee that the framework will act in a specific manner. Indeed, under the purported Spearin Doctrine, which gets its name from a 1918 Supreme Court choice United States v. Spearin, a contractor who has developed a framework as per a structure specification has a barrier to any guarantee that the framework isn’t proceeding as expected.
youtube
The Spearin Doctrine applies to plan specifications. Frequently, deciding if a specification is a presentation versus plan specification is troublesome as a specification may mix components of both. To separate between execution versus plan specifications, courts look to the degree of caution that exists inside the given specification. A contractor contending that a specification is a structure specification – and subsequently subject to the Spearin Doctrine – must show that the specification “doesn’t allow important caution.” Indicating a specific producer of a product alone isn’t dispositive of whether a specification is a plan as opposed to execution, particularly when a specification grants substitution of a predefined product with “an affirmed equivalent.” In deciding if a specification is a structure over execution, courts additionally look to how a lot of oversight the proprietor practiced over the contractor’s work and whether the specifications spread out the contractor’s means and strategies for contraction.
Moreover, the contrast among structure and execution specification and the liabilities each makes is of specific significance to plan manufacturers since specifications in configuration assemble contracts are execution specifications. In this manner, plan manufacture contractors ought not just to affirm that the framework is equipped for being built to proceed as required, yet besides that it very well may be developed a price adequate to the structure construct contractor. A plan assembles contractor that learns in the wake of contracting that even though the framework is fit for development, but at an over the top price, won’t be qualified for a change in the contract price. Besides, on the off chance that they are budgetary unequipped for building the framework at the price important for it to perform, it is in danger for a bond guarantee.

Besides, on the off chance that they are budgetary unequipped for building the framework at the price important for it to perform, it is in danger for a bond guarantee.

Bringing Your Baby Home
Regardless of whether your child gets back home from the clinic immediately, shows up later (maybe after a stay in the neonatal emergency unit), gets through a selection organization, the homecoming of your little one is a significant occasion you've presumably regularly envisioned. Here's the manner by which to be readied.
Leaving the Hospital
Mothers to-be in some cases pack garments for the outing home before heading off to the clinic — or they may hold back to perceive what the climate brings and have their accomplice bring garments for both themselves and the infant. Plan to carry baggy dress for yourself with a drawstring or flexible midsection since you in all likelihood won't fit into your pre-pregnancy furnishes yet.
Children are frequently overdressed for the principal trip home. Dress your child as you would dress yourself. Thus, in the event that you'd be excessively warm in a weaved cap throughout the late spring, your child most likely will be, as well.
In warm climate, dress your child in a T-shirt and light cotton pants or an infant cover over exposed legs. On the off chance that it's chilly, put footie night wear, a cap, and warm cover over your infant. However, make certain to keep all covers a long way from your endearing face's to stay away from suffocation.
Odds are vastly improved that you'll bring home a quiet, placated infant on the off chance that you don't invest a great deal of energy at the clinic attempting to dress your infant in a confused outfit that requires pushing and pulling your child's arms and legs.
On the off chance that you haven't just made the plans with your child's human services supplier, make a point to ask when the infant's first exam ought to be planned before you leave the medical clinic. Contingent upon the conditions, some untimely children likewise return home with an uncommon screen for checking breathing and pulse, and you might be shown newborn child cardiopulmonary revival (CPR).
Yet, regardless of whether your infant is full-term or untimely, don't understand surged the entryway — have your inquiries replied before you leave the medical clinic. Furthermore, in the event that you end up pondering about anything — from washing to breastfeeding to burping — ask your medical caretaker, lactation advisor, or your child's primary care physician.
The Car Trip
The most significant thing for the outing home is an appropriate kid security seat (vehicle seat). Each state expects guardians to have one preceding leaving the emergency clinic since it's probably the most ideal approaches to secure your child.
In any event, for a short excursion, it's never ok for one of you to hold your child in your arms while different drives. Your infant could be pulled from your arms and tossed against the dashboard by a speedy stop.
Think about purchasing, leasing, or acquiring a vehicle seat before your child's conceived, when you have the opportunity to pick cautiously. There are two sorts of vehicle seats for babies: newborn child possibly situates (which must be supplanted when your infant gauges 22 to 35 pounds, contingent upon the kind of seat) and convertible seats that oblige the two newborn children and more seasoned kids.
Newborn child just seats are intended for back confronting utilize just and fit babies superior to convertible seats. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) suggests that babies and little children ride in a back confronting seat until they are 2 years of age or until they have arrived at the most extreme weight and tallness limits suggested by the maker. (On the off chance that your infant surpasses the weight suggested by the maker before the subsequent birthday, you'll have to utilize a convertible seat intended for greater children.)
A few guardians of infants locate that a "travel framework" (which incorporates a carriage and a baby just vehicle seat that can be connected to the buggy) makes it much smoother to progress babies — particularly dozing ones — from the vehicle to the buggy.
Convertible seats face toward the back until your child is at any rate 2 years of age or has arrived at the greatest weight and tallness limits suggested by the maker. A kid who arrives at the stature and weight confines before age 2 is most secure in a greater convertible seat and kept back confronting. Children who are little can stay in back confronting seats much after age 2. (Follow the producer's rules for when to turn the seat.)
Never put a back confronting newborn child or convertible seat in the passenger seat of your vehicle — consistently utilize the back seat. Traveler side airbags in the front seat lodge are dangerous for both back and front aligned vehicle seats, and most mishaps occur at the front traveler zone of the vehicle. At the point when it's chilly, lash your infant in cozily first, at that point put covers over the child.
On the off chance that you get a vehicle seat, ensure that it's not over 6 years of age and was never in an accident (regardless of whether it looks OK, it could be fundamentally unsound). Evade seats that are missing parts or aren't marked with the assembling date and model number (you'll have no real way to think about reviews).
Likewise, check the seat for the maker's suggested "lapse date." If you have any questions about the seat's history, or if it's split or gives indications of mileage, don't utilize it.
Ask at your pre-birth classes, human services supplier's office, medical clinic, or insurance agency about rental or credit programs for vehicle seats — they're very normal.
When purchasing another seat, it's critical to recall that there isn't one sort of seat that is most secure or best; get one that fits and can be accurately introduced in your vehicle. What's more, more significant expense doesn't really demonstrate a seat's quality — it could just mean the seat has included highlights that you might possibly need or use. Additionally, make certain to enroll your new seat so you can be advised of any issues or reviews.
The most widely recognized issue including vehicle seats is ill-advised establishment. As per the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, most of all vehicle seats are introduced erroneously. Hook (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) is a framework that makes it simpler to introduce vehicle seats. It utilizes worked in snares to interface the seat to mooring equipment in the vehicle. Despite the fact that LATCH is standard in the United States, numerous seats are still inappropriately introduced.
Try not to believe outlines or store shows. Adhere to the producer's directions (and keep them convenient). Get some information about nearby assets where your vehicle seat can be checked by somebody explicitly prepared to assess vehicle seat establishments. Numerous medical clinics, police and fire stations, and even vehicle sales centers offer this sort of administration for nothing. Ensure that the assessment is finished by somebody prepared and experienced.
In case you're bringing your child home from the emergency unit, the vehicle seat to the clinic early, so the staff can check whether it will work for your infant. On the off chance that unique wellbeing concerns preclude a standard restriction, request that your kid's PCP suggest vehicle seats for kids with extraordinary requirements.
For more data on the correct utilization of youngster wellbeing seats, read our article on auto security.
First-Time Feelings
Try not to be amazed on the off chance that you have blended feelings as you bring your infant home, particularly if this is your first kid. You'll likely be anxious. Truth be told, you may really feel scared as you understand that you've surrendered a specific measure of command over your life.
On the off chance that your child wasn't with you much at the emergency clinic, you may not recognize what kind of calendar your little dear baby will keep. Yet, you'll know after a short time — in spite of the fact that infants' calendars do change a great deal during those early months. You'll be less focused in the event that you don't overschedule yourself and can take the path of least resistance.
Contingent on your work and conveyance experience, you may feel genuinely depleted and sore. Your hormones might be battling to get up to speed, as well. In the mean time, your accomplice may feel somewhat left out in case you're completely engaged with the infant.
You may have different children anticipating the appearance of this most current relative. Or on the other hand you might be managing a pet who's considering what's out of nowhere drawn everybody's consideration. What's more, the desires for new grandparents, serious kin, or companions can likewise make the homecoming unpleasant.
Your infant's initially broadened crying period at home will be troublesome. Keep in mind: youthful infants ordinarily weep for 1 to 5 hours inside a 24-hour time frame, and can't generally be quieted. Crying for the most part diminishes continuously after the initial half a month. In spite of the fact that it might appear to be unimaginable now, in a couple of months it will be hard to review your child's apparently unending crying scenes.
The Home Front
Acquainting your child with others at home can be testing. On the off chance that you have different children, make certain to invest some quality energy with every one of them. A few guardians bring home blessings from the new child for elder siblings and sisters. From the start, you can anticipate some envy, particularly if the primary focal point of your consideration for quite a while abruptly has new rivalry. Urge kin to "help" you care for this most up to date relative.
In the event that you have a pet, request that your accomplice carry home a cover with the infant's fragrance on it and spot it close to the pet — even before leaving the emergency clinic. At that point, when you get back home, the pet will as of now be to some degree acquainted with the infant. In any case, make sure to never disregard pets with infants.
Loved ones
Request that your accomplice be the guardian for guests and to restrict the quantity of visitors from the outset. You'll be happy later on the off chance that you take some time presently to rest and become alright with your new circumstance. Despite the fact that babies ordinarily aren't bashful around outsiders for the initial 3 months or thereabouts, they may become overstimulated and tired if an excessive number of individuals are near.
In the event that you have phone message or a phone replying mail, think about changing your message to give the crucial measurements of your fresh introduction. You may state something like: "Our most current relative has shown up. Her name is Julia Marie; she was conceived on Tuesday, and gauged 7 pounds, 10 ounces. We're all fine and changing in accordance with our new life. In the event that you'd like us to get back to you when it's helpful, if it's not too much trouble leave your name and number." You can likewise set up a programmed email reaction with this data.
Try not to be modest about tolerating guests gradually. Ask any individual who's evil to hold up until they're feeling admirably and no longer contagi
