Live Rugby Los pumas vs all black in Hamilton | how to watch ABs v Pumas Rugby in NZ
the second test between the All Blacks vs Pumas at FMG Stadium in Hamilton on Saturday, 3 September (ABs v Pumas kickoff at 7.05pm):
The All Blacks face another challenging Rugby Championship test against Argentina on Saturday, desperate to halt a three-match losing streak at home while fans go through stages of despair over the worst slump in the team’s 119-year history.
New Zealand incurred losses to Ireland and France at the end of last season, then lost at home to Ireland for the first time and went on to lose that series. Then the All Blacks lost to South Africa, then for the first time at home to Argentina.
That’s shifted the mood of fans from denial, anger and depression to acceptance.
Argentina will come into the match fresh off defeating the All Blacks for the first time on New Zealand soil, giving them two wins from their past five encounters. The All Blacks have played the Pumas 38 times since 1976 and have won by an average of 34 points in their previous four fixtures in Hamilton.
Thirty-seven years after playing the All Blacks in the first test match between the two sides, Los Pumas made history by winning in New Zealand for the first time ever.

Cheika’s Pumas lose five players to injury
Argentina have lost five more players to injury ahead of their decisive Test against Scotland on Saturday, including captain Julian Montoya. The home team already had to do without their first choice halfback pairing of Tomas Cubelli and Nicolas Sanchez after both tore muscles in the first Test win over the Scots in San Salvador de Jujuy on July 2. As it happened: Rugby Championship, All Blacks v Argentina

As it happened: Rugby Championship, All Blacks v Argentina
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The All Blacks warmly greeted the final whistle after they beat Argentina 20-16 in their Rugby Championship match in Buenos Aires on Sunday morning.
The All Blacks fought off two lineouts in the final minute, and finally got a chance to celebrate when the Pumas turned the ball over in a ruck close to their line after the full time hooter.
Since November 16, 2009, the All Blacks have been the pinnacle of men’s international rugby.
However, their reign could come to an end should they be tipped up by Argentina in their opening game of the Rugby Championship.
If the Pumas beat the All Blacks by more than 15 points in Buenos Aires, the New Zealand side would lose their No 1 ranking to Wales, who would take over the mantle for the first time in their history, Wales Online reports.
Here’s what else you need to know ahead of the All Blacks’ first test of the year.
All Blacks v Argentina, Sunday July 21, 6.05am kickoff (NZT)
It certainly isn’t the most experienced All Blacks team you’ll ever see, with five players yet to make their debut included in the match day 23. Sevu Reece starts on the right wing in his debut, while Atu Moli, Braydon Ennor, Josh Ioane and Luke Jacobson are poised to make their mark on the game off of the bench.
The Sam Cane-captained side will meet a Pumas outfit extremely familiar with one another, with many of the players fronting from the Jaguares during the Super Rugby season. Of the 23 selected for the game by coach Mario Ledesma, only three do not play for the country’s only Super Rugby franchise, with No10 Nicolas Sanchez (Stade Francais), tighthead prop Juan Figallo (Montpellier) and reserve halfback Felipe Ezcurra (Leicester) earning a spot in the side.
The All Blacks have won 27 of the 28 previous meetings between the two sides, with a solitary draw in 1985.
Team lists
All Blacks:
Ben Smith, Sevu Reece, Anton Lienert-Brown, Ngani Laumape, Jordie Barrett, Beauden Barrett, Aaron Smith, Ardie Savea, Sam Cane (c), Vaea Fifita, Patrick Tuipulotu, Brodie Retallick, Angus Ta’avao, Dane Coles, Ofa Tuungafasi
Reserves:
Liam Coltman, Atu Moli, Nepo Laulala, Jackson Hemopo, Luke Jacobson, Brad Weber, Josh Ioane, Braydon Ennor.

All Blacks Rugby Game Today New Zealand face to Argentina in Christchurch
All Blacks Rugby Game Today – All you need to know ahead of the first test between the All Blacks and the Los Pumas at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch on Saturday, 27 August (kickoff at 7.45pm) .
Saturday’s Lipovitan-D Rugby Championship between the All Blacks and Argentina in Christchurch will be the first time the sides have met in New Zealand since their 2018 Test in Nelson.
The Rugby Championship test between New Zealand vs Argentina Rugby at Christchurch on Saturday is supposed to be a “new dawn” for the All Blacks.

Fans know this because New Zealand Rugby told them so. When it recently reappointed head coach Ian Foster through the 2023 World Cup , NZR was effusive in its praise. It said Foster was the only man who could lead the All Blacks into this new era.
Setting aside the fact that the All Blacks under Foster have won only two of their last seven tests, NZR’s chairman and chief executive Mark Robinson portrayed him as a visionary who would take New Zealand back to the peak of world rugby. The All Blacks currently languish at fifth place, their lowest-ever world ranking.
New Zealand vs Argentina Rugby Preview
While Argentina lead the Championship, the statistics suggest they will face a different type of opponent when meeting the All Blacks. The New Zealanders are ahead of Argentina in goal-kicking (88.9 percent to 80), carries (105.0 to 80.0), carry metres (749.8 to 532.1), defenders beaten (24 to 11.5), passes (160.5 to 115), tackle percentage (88.2 to 84.6).
Argentina have also made 143 tackles compared to 110 by the All Blacks and they have missed 22 compared to 13 by the New Zealanders. Argentina have managed 5.5 line breaks compared to New Zealand’s 4.5 and their lineout success is 93.1 per cent to 84.6 by the All Blacks. Argentina have conceded 9.5 turnovers while the All Blacks have 11.
The All Blacks will attempt to back up the win over the World Cup champion Springboks in South Africa two weeks ago which made it possible for New Zealand Rugby to throw its backing behind Foster. The win in Johannesburg was a vital one for a beleaguered coach and team but will count for nothing if the All Blacks don’t win again against the Pumas.
Foster realises the one win over South Africa is not enough to take the “weight off” the All Blacks or relieve public concern about their form — an informal survey on a New Zealand media website showed more than 80 per cent of respondents opposed Foster’s reappointment.
