More dragons! A redo of an older piece, with an attempt at more personality and design for each of the sisters (and I do believe I switched two of them around). Great practice for fire, although I might work at it more, who knows. I'm so happy it's finished ;_;

Squirrelflight <3 I think I had just finished... Squirrelflight's Hope?? I was definitely frustrated reading it but alas, she's still my fave. Stylistically not how I picture her in my head, still trying to figure that out lol.

And back at it with more X-Men, Archangel! His wiiings. I wanted to draw metal wings. At least, some of the feathers. Overall I think I could've pulled the pose and expression a little more, but still happy with it!

It's nice because comics were really inspiring me to get back into art after a pretty long slump (digital art, anyway. Loads of traditional sketches that are super messy and all over the place). I still have yet to read an X-Men comic though LOL

I wish I could say I come bearing more dragon art, but alas. Here's Iris, my old DA:I inquisitor! :) I've been trying to flesh out her design (among other characters) more, and so far it's been a blast. The lore on this game is INSANE.

I literally drew Rogue for her cool Jacket and would you believe I forgot to add it after polishing up the sketch. Overall her face is not my favorite for likeness, but I was thrilled with the pose. Choice of background is still something I think about when seeing this piece but ah well.

Quicksilver! From X Men!

The explosion in the background kept me from finishing this sooner ;; So many redraws. Positioning him was also a bit of a challenge--but more so because I wasn't sure where I wanted him. Either way, happy to have this piece done :> Been working on it on and off since early last year, and his first sketch was actually done back in 2022- oops.

WELL HELLO, it's certainly been AGES. I'm kinda creeping back into tumblr, completely lost to all the new set-ups but working through it lol. I think I'll slowly be posting my art back from arouund 2021ISH? to now? I think that's when I stopped--not that there's been much art between that time, but still! Something to do.

The background more than anything discouraged me from getting it done sooner. More practice with dead trees and snow needed! I had just finished the first book in The Broken Code, and while having heard a bit of what happened already, I was excited by the ending. I can't recall my overall opinion of this series, but I think I enjoyed it.

Honestly I think I was first excited by the book cover and title? Kinda specific but I remember that.

I was introduced to X-Men (the animated series) and boy is it fun.

This is also the year I got into collecting comics! Hopefully I'll get to draw Hawkman soon because he's probably my fave so far (the series by Venditti and Hitch is awesome for someone, like me, who knew nothing of Hawkman's backstory or jazz lol.

ANYWHO, back to the drawing, Gambit! I first liked his ability almost purely because it was purple, but the character himself started growing on me too! Definitely a challenging outfit that I'd like to give a shot again someday.

I needed a new wallpaper for the new computer, and I just had to draw them <3. The colors were taken mostly from the default wallpaper because I was digging the palette. Still proud of this one!

I still haven't nailed down a design for my fave NPC in Fallout. I am happy with how his hair turned out for once though LOL. Also including older drawings of him for comparison
