Jared Kushner ordered that the incoming Biden administration be excluded from COVID-19 planning in the aftermath of the 2020 election, a former aide said.

Alyssa Farah Griffin made the claim in an interview with the House Select Committee investigating the Capitol riot, according to a newly released transcript.

Farah Griffin told the panel that Kushner shot down the a suggestion to include President Joe Biden's transition team in planning discussions after the election had been called for Biden, per the transcript.

At the time, Trump was angrily refusing to concede defeat, and hyping his baseless theory that the election had been stolen. Though he left office in January 2021, he continues to claim he won the 2020 vote.

In the transcript, Farah Griffin described former COVID Task Force coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx asking whether they should be "looping" the incoming Biden transition in.

"Jared just said, 'Absolutely not,'" Farah Griffin told the panel. "And then we just moved on."

Farah Griffin's allegation, which was first reported by The Independent, is the first to directly put blame for the stonewalling on Kushner.

Biden officials complained at the time that the Trump administration was refusing them access to COVID-19 data in the weeks after the election.

Former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy told "Fox News Sunday" on November 15, 2020, that the Trump administration had stonewalled crucial COVID-19 data and plans.

Biden also said that week that Trump officials were harming the US by denying them access, per The New York Times.

"If we have to wait until January 20 to start that planning, it puts us behind," Biden told reporters, referring to the date of his inauguration. "More people may die if we don't coordinate."

In the same speech, Biden pressed the Trump administration to provide more details about the allocation of COVID-19 vaccinations. "The sooner we have access to the administration's distribution plan, the sooner this transition would be smoothly moved forward," Biden said, per Politico.

It comes from one of the dozens of witness transcripts released by the January 6 Committee in the past week.

Kushner did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

New Documentary Asserts Deborah Birx Was Real Culprit Behind Disastrous Covid Lockdowns

Legal Insurrection recently looked back on the 4th anniversary of “15 days to Slow the Spread,” highlighting the spate of disastrous consequences of the covid lockdowns that extended in some locales for three years.

I have often noted the role of Dr. Anthony Fauci in this fiasco. But a new documentary reminded me about”Scarf Lady” Dr. Deborah Birx.

“It Wasn’t Fauci: How the Deep State Really Played Trump” shows how Birx, a career bureaucrat, seized control of the government from President Donald Trump and created a disaster.

The documentary shows how Birx was invited to join the White House Coronavirus Panel in March 2020 through a connection with former Vice President Mike Pence. Her qualification was being the leader in the Office of the Global Aid Coordinator (OGAC) as part of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program.

Interestingly, there was an Inspector General report on complaints about her leadership style, which is described as dictatorial and “lacking rationale.” The complaints in the letter should have been heeded.

In addition to concerns about performance targets, country team members cited broader issues related to OGAC’s management approach. Of 68 statements the inspector general’s office received about OGAC’s leadership, 49 — or 72% — were negative. The auditors cited responses that described OGAC’s leadership as “dictatorial,” “directive,” and “autocratic.” “Sometimes decisions are made without clear rationale other than ‘[the Global AIDS Coordinator] told you to,” one respondent told the auditors. Another reported that an implementing agency with “high level technical staff” has been “directed to read the [planning] letter and do exactly that.” “Let’s just obey and move on. This is a worrying trend. Working in fear and a space where nothing is negotiable. It is causing a lot of strain with the government. Also losing gains made in the country. There should be room for negotiation and allow people to air their views,” the same person reported.

The documentary notes that Birx was the covid policy maker on the panel, not Fauci . . . whom the film suggests was merely its “face.” Birx handled covid, caused by an airborne respiratory virus that is readily transmittable, using the exact same approach used for AID—a bloodborne pathogen that is substantially more difficult to contract.

Conspiracy of Counterintelligence on COVID

To justify vaccine mandates and forced vaccinations, the causes of death and, as a result, the COVID-19 death toll was fabricated – greatly exaggerated. Though exposed by whistleblowers, these facts were painted as conspiracy theories. No matter how credible, experts and other highly reliable sources – including Dr. Stella Immanuel, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, and even President Donald Trump were written off as conspiracy theorists.

The false classification of patient deaths being labeled as COVID-19 deaths was most egregious. Many thought that their friends and lived ones were succumbing to a horrible virus that had no end in sight. The pope of scientific propaganda and con-artist seeking to cover his own tracks into China went on a tirade of tyranny for big pharmaceutical companies seeking to cash in on federal dollars with barely tried and tested vaccines.

Moderna Modifications

The mostly heavily promoted was Moderna’s vaccine which is really an mRNA gene therapy that, in some cases, increases infectivity for the vaccinated as Dr. Paul Alexander has detailed in his article, 3 key studies showing us the possible manner in which the COVID mRNA gene injection enhances infectivity of the virus to the vaccinated person; N-terminal domain (NTD) & receptor binding domain (RBD).

In fact, the Moderna “vaccine” was found to cause adverse reactions according to Just the News’ Daniel Payne who reported in his article Moderna COVID-19 vaccine induced adverse reactions in ‘more than half’ of trial participants. He states:

“Solicited adverse events that occurred in more than half the participants included fatigue, chills, headache, myalgia, and pain at the injection site,” the report states. Fever, joint pain and nausea were also reported.

Side effects grew more common with more (and larger) injections, the scientists write: “Systemic adverse events were more common after the second vaccination, particularly with the highest dose, and three participants (21%) in the 250-μg dose group reported one or more severe adverse events.”

Birx Betrayals and Fauci Falsehoods about the Death Tolls

In a Fox News article shared by The New York Post, “The NIH classifying all coronavirus patient deaths as ‘COVID-19’ deaths, regardless of cause of death,” Dr. Deborah Birx is quoted: “The intent is … if someone dies with COVID-19, we are counting that,” she added.

Michael Baden, a Fox News Contributor, expanded on this smooth presentation of mental gymnastics by stating:

“In the normal course, autopsies would then determine whether the person died of the effects of the COVID virus, whether the person had a brain tumor or brain hemorrhage, for example, that might be unrelated to it and what the relative significance of both the infection and the pre-existing disease is,” Baden told Fox News.

Deborah Birx stated in a White House press conference that the death toll may be exaggerated by up to %25 according to William Davis of the Daily Caller. It seems like Dr. Birx’s conscience was returning or maybe she didn’t want to be found liable or responsible for the consequences of the irresponsible actions of Fauci, the major pharmaceutical companies, and greedy government officials.

Dr. Birx went onto further to express her distrust of COVID-19 information given from the CDC. Who could blame her after the mixed messages being sent from “The Science” also known as Anthony Fauci, with which former CDC Director Robert Redfield agreed, who stated when asked by Newsmax’s Greg Kelly:

“Obviously, you need to take it seriously, and do the kinds of things that the CDC and the Department of Homeland Security are doing, ” Fauci responded. “But, this not a major threat for the people of the United States, and this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about.”

Political Jesters of Cronyism

At a time when President Trump was trying to pull the fire alarm to prevent international travel into the United States, particularly from China, his political opponents, used Fauci to seize the spread of COVID-19 as an opportunity to discredit Trump as being xenophobic. Indeed, when Trump said that there should be a ban on international travel to and from the United States, many federal, state and local officials, such as democrat Mayors Andrew Cuomo of New York City and Latoya Cantrell of New Orleans as well as democrat Governor John Bel Edwards of Louisiana altogether ignored Trump’s recommendations in favor of those of Fauci, Redfield, and Birx.

Former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy told "Fox News Sunday"  on November 15, 2020, that the Trump administration had stonewalled crucial COVID-19 data and plans.

Biden also said that week that Trump officials were harming the US by denying them access, per The New York Times.

"If we have to wait until January 20 to start that planning, it puts us behind," Biden told reporters, referring to the date of his inauguration. "More people may die if we don't coordinate."

In the same speech, Biden pressed the Trump administration to provide more details about the allocation of COVID-19 vaccinations. "The sooner we have access to the administration's distribution plan, the sooner this transition would be smoothly moved forward," Biden said, per Politico.

It comes from one of the dozens of witness transcripts released by the January 6 committee in the past week.

Democrats detail effects of early pandemic failures in new Senate report

...."Many of the deaths and much of the economic damage from the Covid pandemic could have been prevented, particularly in the early months of the coronavirus’s spread, had the federal government been better prepared after decades of warnings, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee said in a report Thursday.

The 242-page report, written by Democrats on the panel, cited long-term weaknesses in the country’s public health infrastructure, from staffing shortages and inadequate disease surveillance to poor testing systems. Those factors, combined with the Trump administration’s failure to adequately stock up on personal protective equipment and provide accurate information to the public, were the main contributors to preventable Covid deaths and economic damage, the report said.

“The loss of life, the damage to the health and livelihoods of countless Americans and the suffering that was caused by the pandemic were not inevitable. We could have handled the situation a whole lot differently,” committee Chairman Gary Peters, D-Mich., said on a call with reporters.

The findings were drawn in part from new interviews with Trump administration officials involved in the initial response, including Dr. Robert Redfield, who was the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; former Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar; and Dr. Deborah Birx, the coordinator of the Trump White House Coronavirus Task Force.

But the report indicated that the pandemic shortcomings extended beyond the Trump administration.

“Despite repeated warnings, systemic inadequacies in public health surveillance systems, years of insufficient funding, over dependence on foreign supply chains, and growing medical and public health staffing shortages, all contributed to what has become one of the worst public health responses in U.S. history,” the report said.

China withheld vital information in the early days of its initial outbreak; U.S. officials, by contrast, had early warning signs and were slow to react, failing to quickly detect the virus’s spread in the U.S. The CDC missed at least half of the cases that came into the country in January and February 2020.

The federal government publicly confirmed the country’s first case on Jan. 21, 2020, but blood samples later showed the virus had been circulating in the U.S. a month earlier, the committee report said.

In some cases, health departments were transcribing information by hand and faxing data, delaying information-sharing about how the coronavirus was spreading. The CDC also struggled for months to develop an effective test to detect the virus, with the committee finding conflicting internal accounts about what went wrong.

In January and February, as the virus began to spread more widely, the only available test had to be run out of CDC labs in Atlanta, which took days to return results. By the end of February, when tens of thousands of people had most likely been infected in the U.S., the CDC had tested fewer than 1,200, the report said."
