All designs from Mirabilia Designs by Nora Corbett:
#161: Zelda— December 15, 2018
The fascinating Zelda Fitzgerald is the muse and inspiration for this pattern. She was glamorous and sophisticated and known to have had “so many feelings”.
The paradise garden on her gown is covered in black onyx beads and dark wandering vines representing the tragedy that crept into her life. Her wild life was full of light and dark but she lived fiercely, creatively and with passion.
#162: December Blue Topaz— February 15, 2019
Meet Miss December!
Strands of dusty blue crystals trail behind her like fireworks. A radiant display of jewel like stars to stitch that fall gently like snow onto the linen. She is demure and slightly sassy and symbolizes love and good fortune.
A glowing illuminating star for your own.
#163: Winter Love— April 15, 2019
Miss Winter has her graceful snow laced trees.
She has her powerful storms. She forces us inward to nest and contemplate the darkness. Her giant snowflakes fall heavily and gather on every balustrade and iron gate. Sometimes she is unending and sometimes she is hope.
The reminder that spring will come and that everything must beautifully breakdown to begin again.
#164: Cathedral Woods Goddess— June 15, 2019
She lives in the densely wooded forest. The cathedral ceilings are lacy pine trees. Her carpets are woven with moss, sage and ivy. The droplets from clean rain make up crystal chandeliers knitted together by spider webs. The lightning bugs light her path down the hallways.
It is a fine castle for this wild Queen who is sometimes seen wandering its corridors at dusk.
The euphoric cricket opera plays on all night.
#165: Garden Prelude— August 15, 2019
In a secret garden hidden in the Metropolitan Museum Cloisters, the lovely Elizabeth performs a piece to enchant the blooms – a dreamy sweet melody to gently coax the spring blossoms.
The allium and tulips sway in a trance.
Bees and butterflies dance with the exquisite vibrations of the strings radiating the air.
#166: The Baker’s Wife— October 15, 2019
Not all that is sweet is good. The same can be said of the unassuming wife of the palace baker. But when luxury becomes intoxicating, the only way to have fun is to swap the sugar for salt and watch as the faces of the dukes turn from pompous to sour. This trickster lives among courtyards and cloisters, but always as the handmaiden or the seamstress. Always, that is, until she dons the disguise of the mysterious Duchess of Rouen.
#167: Lilith of Labrador— December 15, 2019
From Newfoundland to Nantucket, she is the icy sea of Labrador and all of its currents. Like any fish, and like some people, where she lives depends on the season. In winter months, she swims south from the arctic, bringing with her a tremendous wave of cold. Yet her sister’s northerly currents mean she will never make it further south than the small fishing village of Mohegan, Maine. You can see her in winter sitting on the southern rocks, watching as the waves block her off from the world.
#168: The Duchess of Rouen— February 15, 2020
Masquerade is something that this Duchess has become used to. Her only reason to enter the foray of bumbling oafs and pretensions is to make use of it as a wonderful distraction. As the harpsichord plucks a melody, the Duchess of Rouen finds her way into the Empress’s secret butterfly garden yet again. She’s captivated by the humble beginnings of the lavender-winged beauties. The flowers smell of the country and home. They nearly drown out the waltzing of the perfumed masses just beyond the door.
#169: Princess Elliana— April 15, 2020
A design like no other. She has all the new DMC colors on her fanciful frock. Patterns in her gown are inspired by the delicate florals on the tea sets at the Ritz-Carlton in NYC.
Her billowing gown is inspired by Renaissance paintings at the Metropolitan Musem of Art.
Her exquisite hair ornament and flowing ribbons are perfectly designed to enchant and delight.
#170: Miss Dancing Flower— June 15, 2020
Please enter into her ultra-vivid world of French blues, wild orchids and scented jasmine.
Stay for awhile lost in her patterned dress and blowing ribbons.
Let these soul blossoms brighten your day as they lace through your needle and flutter across the linen.

Mold growth is a common occurrence in homes and businesses. It can be caused by high humidity, condensation, or water damage due to flooding or plumbing leaks. One of the most dangerous types of mold is toxic black mold.
Removal and anti-fungal treatment should be done as soon as possible, as toxic black mold can cause serious health issues if left unchecked. This article will discuss toxic black mold symptoms, and how to get rid of them. We hope you find the information helpful!
What Is Toxic Black Mold?
Toxic black mold is a fungus that grows indoors in damp or moist areas. It's usually dark green or black and has a slimy or velvety texture. It can grow on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in the home where there's an excess of moisture.
The most toxic type of black mold is called Stachybotrys chartarum; this strain produces toxic byproducts that are hazardous to humans and pets.
