**Surgery Info** People have continually asked about the surgery I keep talking about. ~ The turbinates in my nose have constantly been swollen and it's hard for me to breath at night, which causes me to breath through my mouth. That mouth breathing has been the cause of my sore throat which stops me from being able to sing since it hurts so much. I can sing a bit, but not like I used to in college and usually not even more than 2 songs. I cry about this sometimes because I was a music major (vocal performance) and I never thought I would be having these issues. After getting my tonsils out in 2010, I thought everything would be better. I went to speech therapy, too. After looking on a singing reddit page, I found that I wasn't the only sufferer and nearly all recommended to do the surgery because it helped their vocal strength, breathing, and sound quality. So there is that~Not sure when I will do it though, but the sooner the better.
