Reverse Rotations in the DX Geartlinger

hey did you know if you spin the barrel of the dx toy in the opposite way it spins if you crank the handle, it’ll spin the gear backwards and read them as a different gear? well now you do.

i learned this from youtube videos ive totally lot cuz the titles were in japanese which i cant type read or speak, but i have a decent collection of gears myself so im going to type out my results in this post and add to it as i get more gears till i get them all.

note that results do not change between DX vs GP vs SG toylines, cuz theyre literally the exact same mold.

also as you might be able to guess, if one gear triggers another gears sounds when its spun in reverse, then the opposite gear will do the same. ie gear 01 in reverse is gear 41, so gear 41 in reverse is gear 01.

ohranger, shinkenger, zenkaiser, and twokaiser all have the same sound regardless of which way they’re rotated. this is because those are the only gears that produce unique sounds in the DX Geardalinger, and since that toy can be spun either direction by design, they have to be consistent in both directions.
