I never realized how terrible I am at spelling (how reliant I am on autocorrect) until I started actual writing again. My penmanship has always been horrible at best. I’ve been trying as of the last few months to get better at it. For what? Just because I guess. Also, fountain pen inks… the colors are bananas. There are so many I want to try and have and just have the bottles sitting on a shelf.

Also, the pens. There is something somewhat elegant about a fine writing instrument. The smoothness of the writing experience. The ease of use. These things just have to touch the paper and you’re off to the races. You don’t have to press them to the page like you do with a ballpoint pen. It makes the writing so effortless.

Right now I am trying different non sizes to try to find where I fit. So far, I’m liking medium and broad nibs the most. Fine is just too thin for mh liking.
