My Predictions on who the Devil is or more so who I want it to be

LISTEN PLEASE HEAR ME OUT. We have Roddy going around claiming that he’s Adam’s Bestfriend, as well as MJF. But why don’t we bring back someone who also had a very close relationship with Adam Cole?

We have Adam appear at World’s End for MJF, have MJF win against Joe WITHOUT cheating this time. And after the match everything goes dark and the Devil comes out, the Devil attacks MJF; having Joe already left the arena and Adam being forced to watch his tag partner being harmed once again without him being able to help. After beating down on Max, the Devil faces Adam and removes his mask. Revealing my wife Kyle O’Reily. We go down the angle where Kyle is angry at Adam for choosing Max over Roddy when they had been together longer than he has with Max. (Referencing to their Undisputed Era/Elite days; ofc without Bobby this time💔). This spirals into another heart breaking and sob inducing story between Adam and Max; where Adam is conflicted between choosing the Undisputed Elite and Max once more, as both sides keep pressuring themselves onto Adam.

Eventually it comes to the point where Adam is forced to choose between them, at first appearing to Choose Max over them; before pulling the same shit he did to Roderick on NXT. Betraying Max, and reuniting the Undisputed Elite officially on AEW. This would lead ofc to a title match for Kyle O’Reily and Maxwell; with Roderick & Adam by his side (maybe the Kingdom if they still w Roderick at this time, we could replace Bobby with them ig). This would leave Maxwell all alone, and realize that everyone is truly against him and that he has no one left (since the Acclaimed basically said they wanted nothing to do with him too). So this betrayal of Adam and reunification of the Undisputed Elite will lead to the demise of Adamjf (when Cole gets better) AND the return of heel Max. Cus as much as I love babyface Maxwell, I need the douchebag he once was back asap.

Overall, if it really is Kyle O’Reily and I somehow manifested this into reality I think the adamjf story would be one of the greatest stories told tbh. I just really need the closure for them. And I rlly just want Kyle O’Reily back, I miss my wife💔💔. I’m not that good at making stories so I hoped this made sense💀 or atleast sounds a lil realistic

And here is the one that’s most likely to be true, but I already know the twitter fucks are gonna be pissed ab 💀💀

This is mostly just do to all the speculations and ppl (me) making fun of the whole real glass situation at All In, but what’s actually insane is the amount of glass was actually used and broken throughout the beatings people have taken with the Devil’s henchmen😭 like, Anthony being thrown through a glass window, Max having a glass bottle broken over him, and Hangman being dropped into a car windshield. Absolutely insane at how much glass they are using, that it’s honestly making me wanna believe that they are purposely using real glass as a symbol for Jack Perry.

Story wise I have no clue as to how they are gonna get this to work, and how they’d continue with it if they do reveal it to be Jack. Cause I know a lot of ppl are gonna be let down (not me I’ll just be happy my gf came back from war), but if it is Jack I hope tk knows what he is doing. And I HOPE that they can actually turn this into an interesting feud if this becomes reality 🙏🙏

But he could also just return and reignite the feud between him and Christian as well. But idk!!! I just need him back💔

Summary: The reader is faced with an impossible task in fending off the JAS alone. Thankfully, her long-lost boyfriend and some old friends show up to back her up.

"Leave him alone, Chris!" You stand in the middle of the ring, members of the JAS surrounding you.

Adam lies on the floor behind you, already a victim of Chris and his goons. Outside of the ring, Britt has also been the victim of an attack.

"Are you sure that you wanna do this, sweetheart?" Angelo Parker taunts you. "You could join us you know? I've always thought you were too good for that clown Adam Cole and his girlfriend anyway." He grins at you, offering you a hand.

Your head rushes with a million thoughts. Adam has been your best friend for over a decade. He's like a brother to you. And Britt has become one of your best girlfriends. They're like family. But what can you do? There are five members of the JAS, plus the Outcasts now. And you're just one person. You can't fend them all off at once.

All hope seems lost and you don't know what to do. The AEW crowd is deafeningly silent as they eagerly await your decision. But then for some unknown reason, the crowd erupts into an uproar of cheers.

"What the hell?" You yelp when people seem to appear out of nowhere behind you. "Roderick? Kyle?" You glance at either side of you to find two old friends.

"Hey, Y/N." Kyle flashes you a goofy grin.

You turn to your opposite side and find Roderici smiling at you as well. "Nice to see you too, gorgeous." He greets you. "Get Adam and Britt out of here. We've got this."

"But there's only two of you." You are quick to point out the numbers game.

"Nah, we bought a backup." Roderick chuckles and slyly nods behind Jericho and his buddies.

You look behind Jericho and spot Bobby Fish just as he hops the barricade. So, with the odds now much better than they were five minutes ago, you step back and help Adam out of the ring.

On the floor, you leave Adam on the ramp and go to help Britt to her feet. When you come around the corner, you find Angelo waiting for you. "Noy so fast, beautiful." He grins at you. "We've still got some things to talk about."

You stop a few feet shy of Britt and weigh your options. One man is much easier to deal with than five, so your odds are much better. Still, Angelo is much bigger than you are. And he could just ignore you and go for Britt if you try anything.

"Hey, jackass!" Roderick hops down from the ring and comes to your rescue. "The lady's already got a man." He glares at Angelo.

Roderick and Angelo start going at it, which gives you time to help Britt to her feet. You get her over to Adam and help both of them up the ramp. Once you're at the top of the ramp and the couple is being helped by medical staff, you head back down the ramp.

"You three need any help?" You slide into the ring and come to a stop on either side of Roderick and Kyle.

"Fiesty as ever I see, Y/N." Kyle snickers,

Bobby and Roderick laugh with Kyle as the action in the ring comes to a stalemate. "And twice as pretty," Roderick adds with a playful wink. "You ready to end this?" He glances at you.

You nod and you help send the JAS running for the hills. You laugh as they all retreat and are immediately met with a hug by Kyle.

"So, how much did you miss me?" Kyle asks as he picks you off your feet.

"Terribly." You giggle. "My life is dull when you're not around to brighten it up, Kyle O'Reilly." You joke with him.

Kyle set you down and Bobby goes in for a hug as well. "It's good to see you again, shorty." He teases you.

"Good to have you back, Fish." You tease him back.

With Kyle and Bobby reacquainted, that just leaves Roderick. You walk over to his side with a hand on your hip and a playful look in your eye. "Long time no see, Strong." You greet him. "The other guys finally get tired of you?"

"More like I got tired of them," Roderick replies.

The two of you stare at one another for a moment, and anyone could mistake the situation for a seriously tense encounter. But neither of you can keep up the charade for long. A smile cracks on your face and you fall forward into Roderick's arms.

"I missed you." You let out a content sigh once you're being embraced in Roderick's arms. "I was beginning to think that they were never going to release you."

"So was I." Roderick chuckles and hugs you tightly. "It looks like they let me go just in time too. How are you always managing to get yourself into trouble when I'm not around?" He asks you.

You giggle and let Roderick go from the hug. "What can I say? I like to remind you just how much you care." You tease him. "Plus, I like watching you get all protective and mean."

"Of course." Roderick shakes his head and leans forward to kiss you on the cheek. "Come on, we should go see how Adam and Britt are."

"Ah, we all know Adam is fine." You wave your hand dismissively. "He's got a thick skull."

Your joke earns a laugh from Kyle and Bobby as everyone heads backstage to find Adam and Britt. You're informed that the couple is back in the trainer's room, so everyone heads back there for the reunion.

"Well, I'll be damned." Adam chuckles when everyone comes through the door. "Nice seeing you boys again."

Roderick, Kyle, and Bobby all head over to chat with Adam while you check on Britt. You walk over to her and give her a small hug.

"How are you feeling?" You ask Britt.

"I'll be fine." Britt shrugs, taking her time to sit up and talk to you. "Thanks for the help." She thanks you with a small smile.

You shrug and nod over to Adam and the boys. "Ah, don't thank me. They did all the work." You insist.

"Right." Britt lets out a small giggle. "Hey, aren't you dating Roderick right now?" She asks you.

"Last time I checked, yeah." You joke. "It's been a bit difficult with the whole conflicting schedules thing. But he's here now, finally." You smile to yourself at the thought of having Roderick back.

"I'm happy for you." Britt shares your smile. "It's always good to have someone you love watching your back. Plus now we can go on double dates!" She jokes.

You laugh and hug Britt again. "Oh, it's going to be so much fun messing with them." You help her to her feet and over to the group. "Make way! VIPs coming through!"

You shoulder past Bobby and Kyle so that Britt can sit with Adam. Once she's sat down, you step back over to Roderick who slings a casual arm over your shoulder. Everyone starts talking about revenge plans and a warm fuzzy feeling overtakes you. Things are looking mighty bright for the future now.

okay i need to talk about where kenny's character is right now in aew because i think it's interesting how this'll turn out. it is clear that, while the bucks have turned face (still kinda cocky tho but, cmon, its the bucks), kenny hasn't. kenny is definitely not full on heel anymore (he definitely would've come out of the heel tunnel otherwise), but he's not face. he's definitely more of a tweener right now, which i believe is due to lack of knowledge.

it is canon that kenny in character does not watch aew when he's not on. in bte ep. 300 he didn't know that cody had left aew, they also flat out tell us that kenny has not watched any of the newer episodes. in bte ep. 320 near the end kenny asks the bucks "couldn't cole tag with you guys?". this tells us two things.

1. kenny doesn't know that cole and redragon turned on the bucks

2. kenny still thinks that cole is someone that the bucks would still tag with.

while the first thing is very interesting on it's own, i think it's the second one that holds more weight in this analysis. when kenny left, he was one of the top heels in the company. he, cole, and the bucks were rude, violent, cheating heels that just wanted to win. THAT was the cole he knew. and in his mind, those are still the people the bucks are.

he believes that the bucks are still in that mindset. still in the superiority complex, winning crazy, with us or against us mindset. since kenny hasn't been aware of what has happened in aew during his 277 day leave, he has had no chance to grow. he has missed the bucks being torn between hangman and the undisputed elite, refusing to fight him, accepting his apology backstage, letting him beat up the undisputed elite, accepting the loss of their tag team titles, and finally, reconciling with hangman after adam cole and redragon turned on them.

if kenny has missed all of that, he is nowhere near the bucks in terms of growth. we know that kenny doesn't have the same amount of hatred towards hangman as before he left (bte ep. 300 "[hangman] better still be [world champion]" quote, his last bte episode saying that he's happy he won), but i can't help but think that he is not on the level where he can forgive and forget yet. in his mind, he just lost the title to him. he has just spent over a year tormenting him, beating him up, belittling him, preying on his insecurities.

"but the bucks have made up with hangman! they could've been trios partners!" yes, absolutely, and wherever the bucks go, kenny follows. i have no doubts that kenny will turn face.

but why aren't the bucks telling kenny that he wasn't their first choice?

when the bucks and kenny are talking about how kenny was "the only choice", "the only one that made sense", the bucks never mention hangman. even when kenny asked "what about cole?" they don't explain the betrayal. nor the failed attempt at getting hangman to tag with them.

i don't actually have a lot of thoughts about this, or where it'll lead to (except the fact that i think hope it'll lead the dark order vs the elite in the finals), but i think it's a detail that may come into play later. thr bucks witholding the fact that hangman was their first choice, and not kenny. maybe they're afraid he won't tag with them if he'd find out he was their second choice?

tl;dr: kenny is a tweener in aew currently while the bucks are faces, due to kenny not watching his own show

Wrestling With Characters - The Hungbucks Reunion Tale

The execution of Adam Cole’s betrayal of the Young Bucks, simultaneously reuniting Hangman with Matt and Nick is incredibly interesting, especially when putting Being The Elite into the context of this story.

The rocky relationship between the bucks and hangman has been documented for years, hangman’s spiralling causing the bucks to distance themselves and fall back into their old bullet club-esc ways. The adoption of these egotistical personas being used as a distraction from the real problems faced by both Hangman and Kenny Omega as the pair drifted from each other and found meaning in other things, omega using his pain to fuel a *definitely legit* title win, with hangman’s pain pausing his progression until he found the friendship of the dark order.

The dark order helped hangman in a way the bucks couldn’t at that time, they helped him get better and drove him to become the champion he deserved to be, the bucks refusing to cheat that night solidified their change of heart then and their even if the face turn didn’t happen until a lot later down the line. The bucks recognising that enabling Omega only made him get worse until Hangman entered the picture again was a key point in time as hangman seemingly by the end of that chapter had opened up the eyes of his former elite stablemates, omega included.

The use of Being The Elite during this story has been fantastic, from Hangman’s phone being taken and used to make Matt think he despised him, to Adam Cole in a Sephiroth shirt watching the dynamic shift between the Bucks and Hangman and making the decision to incapacitate the bucks over try to reason with them. Adam Cole knew that Matt and Nick wanted Hangman as their trios partner, he could see their personalities shift over the past few months from egotistical (despite how much they tried to keep that up) to genuine again. Adams power in the group lies in the bucks listening to his orders as a self appointed leader, especially with Kenny gone as this was his chance to get the bucks entirely on his side, but once he realised that was impossible his solution was to take them out of the equation entirely.

The question is whether Adam Cole was set on the idea that the bucks were teaming up with hangman again, because despite the attempt at incapacitation, the bucks siding with hangman could actually benefit Adam Cole. During Kenny Omegas last promo on AEW Dynamite announcing he was going away for a while, the bucks tried to tell him about how they encourages hangman to win the AEW Championship from omega but they never got the chance because Adam Cole stopped them. It works in Adams favour for the bucks to be separated from everyone but him, but especially for the bucks to be separated from Kenny. To the viewers knowledge Kenny still doesn’t know this fact and that is something Adam can use to his advantage once Omega finally makes his return. A betrayal by the men Kenny sees as his brothers could be just what Adam Cole needs to manipulate the man into being on his side, he needs the breaking of that trust the core elite have since their bond is that strong they always find their way back to eachother, think 2018 NJPW for a clear example of that.

With Omegas rumoured return on the horizon, the undisputed elite in shambles and the Hungbucks reunited once again, it begs the question… Is Kenny Omega still a man driven by jealousy? Or has a new perspective opened his eyes to the importance of friendship.

on BTE cole didn’t really bother to hide that he was leaving the bucks out of the loop, but the bucks were so lost in their own world they didn’t even notice, just took it for granted that cole would lead the promo and they wouldn’t need to do anything

and this is THEE adam cole! the man who never forgets a slight, who has shown he can pretend he’s in denial right up until he stabs you in the back

yet they assume they’re safe. trust cole to fill the leadership vacuum that they don’t want to deal with. take it and his loyalty as givens, and assume he won’t hold a grudge or remember. so they didn’t see what was coming despite the red flags

Fightful Select has a report today on Kenny Omega's return.

The gist is that Omega is penciled in for a trios program with the Young Bucks at All Out. (This is apparently a reason why they're holding off on doing another Bucks vs. FTR match.)

The report mentions Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly, but only to point out that they're all sidelined right now, and that it looked like an Omega-Cole feud was being set up months ago. So if you see somebody claiming that Fightful reported Omega/Bucks vs. Cole/reDRagon for All Out, they're misrepresenting the report. The report is just that an Omega/Bucks six-man is planned, with no specifics on the opposing team.

Also, there's no guarantee these plans will hold up. Right now, Omega may be feeling like he can return for September 4, but that could quietly change if he has a setback in his physical therapy or something. For example, Kenny had planned to return for Forbidden Door in June, but then decided he wasn't ready; the same thing could happen with All Out.

I'm sure AEW Tumblr will be wondering what all this means for the Adam Page/Young Bucks stuff they've been teasing on Being the Elite. Your guess is as good as mine. It could be that they're setting up a Hangman/Bucks reconciliation as a fallback in case Kenny isn't ready. Or for all we know it's a long-term storyline that won't pay off until 2024. We'll just have to wait and see...

Flirty Short King Content

Summary: The reader is the Bucks sister who is always being flirty and forward with Adam.

Wednesday morning you are busy at work in the gym before Dynamite later in the day. Matt and Nick are both working on the weight rack a couple of feet away and you're busy on the pullup bar. There is a comfortable silence amongst the trio until the silence is interrupted by Matt and Nick's buddy, Adam Cole. 

"Matt, Nick! You guys been here long?" Adam walks up to his buddies with a grin before he spots you there as well. "Oh, and look who it is. My favorite member of the Jackson family! Y/N, I haven't seen you in a few weeks, gorgeous." 

You drop down from the pullup bar and roll your eyes. "Adam, what a pleasure it is seeing you again." You eye him up. "I just got back into town yesterday actually." You explain. "I was in NYC for a friend's wedding." 

"A wedding?" Adam replies. "Sounds like fun. Which friend was it? Anyone that I know?" He asks you curiously. 

"No, she's a friend from when I was a kid." You shake your head. "Why the sudden interest in what I'm up to?" You eye him with suspicion. 

Adam shrugs with a smug grin on his face. "What? Is being interested in Matt and Nick's frustratingly attractive sisters a crime now?" He asks you. "Maybe I want to know if I have any competition for your undivided attention." 

You roll your eyes again, a hint of a smile playing on your face. Matt and Nick both gag at the display in front of them which earns a small laugh from you. 

"Trust me, Cole, you are nowhere near the top of the list of men I'd consider letting hit it." You tease him with a laugh. "I'm gonna hit the showers and head back to my room. I'll see you guys later at the show. Bye, Adam." You flash one last teasing smile at Cole before you walk off. 

Adam watches you walk away until you are out of sight, mesmerized by the way you seemingly sway your hips just for him. He shakes his head when you're gone and turns back to Matt and Nick. 

"Man, your sister is something else." He chuckles and sets down his water bottle. 

Nick rolls his eyes at Adam's comment and adds some weight to his bar. "Yeah, a pain in the ass." He sneers. 

"Got that right." Matt agrees and does the same. 

You head back up to the hotel floor that you're staying on and head to your room. While you're getting freshened up in the shower you recall a conversation you had with your friend Emilia while in town for her wedding a few days ago. 

(flashback)

"I cannot believe you right now!" Emilia giggles as she sets her fork down. "You're telling me that you are surrounded by all of those fine men and you aren't getting with any of them? Talk about a waste. Girl, I'd be all over that locker room by now." 

You laugh and pull another plate of tester cake towards you. "This is coming from the girl that is getting married this weekend?" You laugh with her. "A lot of those guys already have girlfriends or wives, mind you." You add. 

"And what about the single ones?" Emilia teases you. "What about that hot one that I see hanging out with you and your brothers on tv all of the time? Andrew? Abe? Adam? Yeah, Adam!" She asks you. "You know? Kind of short, long hair, cocky attitude? He single?" 

You roll your eyes playfully and dig into your cake. "Yeah, he's single. Single and 100% full of himself." You answer her question. 

"That's perfect!" Emilia claps her hands. "Come on, Y/N. I know that you're into the guys that ooze confidence out of every pore." She teases you. "And this Adam guy is a total 10. You've got to hit that." She insists. 

"Okay okay!" You laugh and change the subject. "Can we stop talking about my sex life and get to why we're here? We're supposed to be choosing a cake flavor for the wedding, remember?" You remind her. 

(End flashback)

You hang around in your hotel room for a couple of hours until it's time to head down to the arena for the show. When you arrive backstage in the locker rooms, Nick and Matt aren't quite there yet. But your brothers almost never arrive early for anything so you're not worried. 

You set down your bag and pull out your ring gear for the night then strip off your shirt so you can get changed really fast. You manage to get your shirt and bra off when the doorknob turns and someone comes into the room. 

"Shit!" You yelp when the door opens. You quickly grab up your discarded shirt and cover your chest just as Adam pokes his head through the door. "Didn't your mother ever teach you to knock?" You snap at Adam. 

 "Hmm?" Adam shuts the door behind him and notices your lack of clothes. "Oh, would you look at that? Looks like I am just in time for the show." He grins at you. "Y/N, please don't stop on my account." 

You watch Adam sit down and eye you up with that same grin of his. "Screw off, Cole!" You toss a shoe at him. "Can't a girl get a little privacy in her locker room?" You ask him. 

"This is technically our locker room," Adam replies. "Come on, we both know that I was bound to get you naked sooner or later anyway." He adds with a grin. 

"Adam!" You warn him with a glare. 

Adam sighs and gets up from his seat with his hands up. "Fine, I'll wait out in the hall." He walks over to the door and slips back out into the hall. 

You sigh in relief now that Adam is gone and not undressing you the rest of the way with his eyes. You quickly get changed and beckon him back into the locker room. Adam comes back into the locker room and sits back down where he was before. 

"Thank you for waiting." You give a quick thanks to Adam as you stuff your normal clothes back into your bag. 

Adam nods. "Of course! I know I can be pushy sometimes, N/N. But I'm not a perv." He adds sincerely. 

"Mhm." You hum and zip up your bag. "I'm gonna step out and call Matt and Nick to see where they are if you want to get changed now." You inform him. 

"Oh, you can stay and watch me change if you want." Adam immediately goes back to being an ass. "I can guarantee that you'll love the view." He teases you with a wink. 

You laugh and roll your eyes. "Yeah, you're going to have to try harder than that, Cole." You walk over to the door. "But maybe eventually you'll get into my pants. Just not tonight." 

"You play a cruel game, Y/N Jackson!" Adam calls after you. "But I will end up winning! It's just a matter of time!" He adds as the door closes on him.
