Forgot how disturbing Wołyń (2016) is lmao. Just from skimming through it for that silly post earlier. I haven't watched it in over two years. I actually think the most violent scenes were cut from some releases of this film if I'm remembering correctly. Any time discourse about the UPA pops up on Twitter i'll see Poles insist Ukrainians watch this movie to learn about what the UPA did and lmfaooo i think you are brain diseased. Dont watch this movie

#I dont think people currently being genocided need to see a film with extremely graphic depictions of civilian massacres actually #Including a scene near the end of Ukrainians getting massacred by Poles #And its ultimately Not going to change the minds of those who are already uninterested in Polish narrative on this subject anyway #Its a good film but really leans into the shock value imo #Its one of those movies you'd never want to watch a second time #Unless you're me ive wtched it like 10 times < autism
