In The Memory of Sushant Singh Rajput

On June 14th 2020, beloved Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his home at Mumbai. The death was ruled out as a suicide and his death gained many condolences by actors and celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, and more. Today is a mournful day, considering that he is the third Bollywood actor to die this year. But similarly to previous posts that I’ve done similar to this, I would like to highlight his career and talk about a few more pressing subjects that definitely need to be addressed.

Long Story Short

Born in Patna to a middle class family, Rajput was an incredibly bright student. Ranking 7th in DCE Entrance Exams and being a National Olympiad winner in Physics. However, his interest in dance and theatre overtook his study time which resulted into him leaving DCE. He went on to take Shimak Davar’s dance classes and Barry Johnson’s drama classes too. He was eventually chosen to be a background dancer in the Filmfare Awards and also perform in 2006 Commonwealth Olympics. He later on starred in popular sitcoms like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Pavitra Rishta. He even participated in dance reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhhla Ja. In 2013, he made a promising debut as Ishaan in Kai Po Che! alongside Rajkumaar Rao and Amit Sadh. After recieving praise from both audience and critics, he starred in movies that were successful such as P.K., M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, and Sonchiriyai. His short and impressive career was about to see brighter days as he was set to play the biopic versions of Rabindranath Tagore and APJ Abdul Kalam.

Amidst this, reports are coming in which reveal the real reason behind Hina’s absence. As per a report on an online portal, Hina Khan and Parth Samthaan aren't close friends. They are co-stars, and hence, Parth didn’t invite her to his party. 

As per the report, “Hina was actually not on the invitee list. Invitations and acceptance are based on the bond two people share. Parth is close to Erica, and that's why she was there.” On the other hand, Kasautii’s other actor, Erica Fernandes is pretty close to Parth and was seen enjoying with him at the party. They both shared photos of the celebrations on social media as well. 

On the other hand, Hina Khan spends most of her time on the sets hanging out with actors like Pooja Banerjee, Shubhaavi Choksey and Ariah Aggarwal. Thus, Parth and Hina seem to only share a professional equation. Amidst all this, Hina Khan is all set to bid adieu to Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Komolika since she will be pursuing her Bollywood dream. She will also be walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival with regards to her upcoming film Lines and will also be taking on some other movie projects.
