Thực chất, áp suất âm là áp suất chân không (hay độ chân không). Không gian có lượng vật chất tồn tại trong đó càng ít thì áp suất âm càng cao (độ chân không càng cao); và ngược lại. Khi giá trị áp suất chân không đạt 0 Torr thì được coi là một áp suất âm tuyệt đối hay chân không tuyệt đối (không có bất kỳ vật chất nào bên trong).

How to Improve the Performance of Vacuum Pump?
The condition of your vacuum pump plays a vital role in your production. When a vacuum pump fails to operate optimally, your output may slow down or stop altogether, both of which can be very time-consuming. That's why we've listed some typical problems and solutions for vacuum pumps.
Running at too high a speed: When the pump is driven by a belt, it's a good idea to make sure the belt is tensioned and aligned. Check for water overload, make sure there are no restrictions on the inputs or outputs, and always run the vacuum pump at the proper speed.
Vulnerale pumping capacity: One of the main reasons for a pump losing its vacuum capacity is leakage. The first thing you should check is the housing gasket and inlet/outlet ports. After running for a period of time, the valve shaft and gauge fittings can develop leaks. It is also important to check that the filter and strainer are clear of obstructions. Stop the leaks as soon as possible and return the vacuum pump's efficiency to its rated value.
Weakened suction: To prevent vacuum surges, ensure that there is no water build-up in the pipework. Residues in the separator, restriction of flow into the pipework, leaks and temperature changes in the sealing water can also cause a sudden surge in vacuum. Consequently, air in the system can also cause damage. When impaired suction occurs, check all seals and connections and tighten if necessary.
Vibration phenomena: If intermittent vibration is detected, check for lumps of liquid or separator carry-over, pipework not correctly secured or low spots in the suction pipework. If the vibration is continuous, check the level and piping indications to ensure that there is no pooling of water in the pump. To confirm that the pump is correctly positioned and connected, and that there are no signs of wear, also check the belt tension and alignment.
