Okay, so maybe it's not that I'm struggling to write in general, I'm just struggling with happier stories... Huh.
#It explains why I've been able to work on certain stories a lot better than others#Tried writing a fun magic fic where Sam's trying to be a cool dad who can pull a quarter out of Jack's ear but it's only after failing#A whole bunch of tricks on Castiel#But I didn't get very far#Versus the fic idea where Sam's on a suicide mission to keep his vessel untouchable and Lucifer trapped in his mind -#That fic has like eight chapters and I've been going back with revisions with ease and expanding upon it when I can#haha yikes#I don't like this realization
