Victoriya headcanons (but it’s angst)

-Her adoptive parents had to tell her that her older brother was dead.

-She didn’t want to speak to them.

-She didn’t want to speak to anyone at the moment.

-She wanted to be alone.

-She went out into the woods (one of the only place she liked since she had to move to Canada) and screamed until her throat was raw as she sunk to the floor.

-Maybe the thing that made Mischa’s death so painful was the fact that he was the last family she had.

-She hated the idea of having no family left.

-She was terrified of being alone in that house she couldn’t even call a home.

-Being left alone with her thoughts after somebody’s death isn’t as good as anyone would think.

-She couldn’t sleep most of the time. So she sat alone in the dark basement thinking about their childhood memories. Anything ranging from petty arguments to the times they actually got along.

-Her adoptive parents tried to make up for how they neglected her and her brother in the past. But she remained resentful toward them.

-They even offered to give her the extra room upstairs, but she wanted to stay in the basement.

-The funeral was cheap. That just added salt to the wound. It wasn’t even a traditional Ukrainian funeral. Adding even more salt to the wound.

-She visits his grave on occasional nights. It’s usually when shit happens in her life.

-Is his spirit at his grave and listening to her? That is up for interpretation. Does he know that she has a girlfriend a few years after his death? That is up for interpretation.

-Overall, she was always secretly scared of losing him. She was scared of being alone here. Forever.
